Yes, I did! I haven't forgotten that Nic should play Dr. Strange in a movie some day. I love his jacket, he has been sporting a few different velvet jackets lately, and they suit him. I love velvet, so soft, and rich textured. I just recently discovered something called snipping tool on my computer, it is so cool, I can snip pics from the image on the screen. Prob everyone but me has heard of it before, lol!
and the velvet jacket can go so many ways....debonair, timeless, smart but casual, sophisticated yet non conventional, alternative and individual, retro but contemporary, stylish kind of eccentric gothic horror glamour undertones...reminds me of Vincent Price!
I have a fair bit of velvet, much of it unworn for a while..but feeling inspired ... my favourites are a stretchy velvet deep wine burgandy dress and my purple velvet dress...oh and my antique velvet jacket..atleast it looks like an antique and i found it in an antique clothing shop..it is now very fragile with thinning in oarts but a beautifully fitted garmet, i can never part with it. But have never owned anything this colour before, i never wear blue!
beautiful image you laid in my mind there White Fay, with the butterfly wings, so true.
Glad you liked the imagery dear Lula. And oh! Those vintage velvet jackets immediately made me think of the Beatles album cover for SGT Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band....LOL!
