As far as great scenes of Nic involving a car goes, I have to post this clip, because it is so wonderful. From another one of my favourite, and I consider very underrated, Nicolas Cage movies. Sorry, imbedding is disabled, so you have to click on the link to watch it. But, it's worth it.
Yeah.....and there are all the naysayers who constantly say he always has the same expression in every movie. Honestly....they aren't watching the same actor I am because he can expressively emote with just a look in his eye. Watching him thinking about the girl who had just told him she was "Happy together with him" gets to me bigtime. You can see how all his dreams died in that moment when she ran away from him and to him there wasn't much worth living for after that.

Very special movie...Way to begin a Monday morning .....and heavy spoiler alert to anyone who has not yet seen Bangkok Dangerous!!!!!
Fully agree with you both..Nic's acting in this movie to me was profound...I am so deeply affected when i watch it ....and that is largely due to Nic's facial expressions and the energy and emotion he silently conveys not the dialogue....which I thought was extra interesting because of how Rain is deaf and mute. Can anyone find a clip of the scene where they first meet in the pharmacy? That scene was breathtaking acting.
The naysayers who complain that Nic is a wooden actor are the same ones who say in the next breath he is an over the top actor..Nic myths 1 and 2!
I don't know about you Lady T and F, but for me this movie was FELT all the way through!
Oh! You found it Meg!! Thank you for posting.... so beautiful..actually brings me to tears ... at the 1.52 mark
it is like watching ice melt and a heart flicker to life through.... the whole energy coming through the screen just overwhelms me.. It just.. it just bypasses the brain straight into the soul.... What an actor!
I know, Lula, such a wonderful movie, I'm so glad others see how beautiful it is.
Sorry everyone, just noticed these weren't imbedded. But if you click on the You Tube insignia in the bottom right corner you can watch it at You Tube.
One more little brief one, just so you can watch his face!
