Thanks for posting Meg, i am always filled with a sense of inspiration and gratitude when i see Nic's humanitarian speeches. We have a couple of his speeches for Amnesty in here, but not this one! starry I wonder what year this was?
I have been a memeber of Amnesty since I was eighteen but sometimes i feel overwhelmed with helplessness ...Nic's speeches always make me feel hopeful! lotus

I am not sure what year, must look it up. Don't know how I missed this before. Yes, it is inspiring to see someone take a stand. I think I read that his work on LOW inspired him to speak out and try to make a difference.

i have seen something recently he made a stand against well when i say recently i think just before christmas , have i dreamt this or does anyone know what i mean , i recall it to be a big event he attended cant remember the cause though.

was the year not around the time of lord of war or have i got confused again i remember the film dvd having a dedication to something not watched the film in a while will try to watch it again so i remember memory is bad this week - blaming lack of sleep .

Yes the victims of crime speech was powerful, and the stories he shareed so heartbreaking.

It was my first thought too that the video Lady T posted was around Lord Of War time, it makessense as Nic did alot of anti arms stuff then! lotus
