Well, I thought the Rite looked pretty scary in the preview, but it sounds less than impressive. Not that I would go see it anyway, don't like posession movies. Much rather see Nic foil the devil!
perhaps pitching one movie against another isn't entirely cool, but i couldn't resist! i think perhaps they are very different movies setting out with very different agendas and audience expectations! but i agree with you entirely though! ...........wasn't Season Of The Witch a possession movie of sorts ?!
I suppose it was but not horrifying to me like the Exorcist and others of that ilk. That is where I saw the Rite preview, when we went to see SOTW. When is that coming out on video, I am longing to see it again?!!!
