This is really a wonderful vid. And, such an romantNIC theme in the middle of WW2. The musical-scenes (especially the scene in the camp, where he sings "o mio babbino caro") are my fav scenes in this great movieNic has such a wonderful singing-voice. Thanks for posting it, Lady T! multicolourlove

It is a very romantic movie, Lady A, I agree, and don't forget the dancing scene too, the look on his face when he watches her, sigh.

And that he learned to play the mandolin so well for the movie is quite an act of dedication to his role, I think.

Yes, indeed, Lady T. He is always so dedicated to his roles. When he is asked in interviews, if he plays an instrument, he always says no. But, he also says, that acting for him is like music. He likes to call it "jazz-acting".

And in CCM, he really impressed me, how he played the mandolin so well. This is one of the things, I admire about him. And, he loves every challenge. Maybe, that`s another reason for his dedication to his roles, I think. flowerface
