We have seen footage of much of Nic's appearance at The 2011 Sedona Film Festival, where he introduces his 2002 directorial debut film Sonny, followed by a wonderful Q & A session with the audience. Here are the videos and full transcript for those interested)

But Nic also received an award that night!

Oh my, that was the icing on the cake, Lula! Wow! I so enjoyed this, thank you! What a guy, I wonder if he would come to Nova Scotia for a film festival? I would love to see him give a talk on stage, it would be truly awesome!

You are both so very welcome Lady Trueheart and Cristina, I was really thrilled to find this today because we had a hint of this at the end of one fo the other videos, but it was never confirmed that Nic had won an award! starry

The excerpt I posted of the award giving speech was a joy to hear and so true abut all Nic has brought to film and peoples lives.

Not that it is about awards, but the recognition is very well deserved, congratulations to Sir Nicolas! knightcastle

It is NICe to see Nic's work honoured and receiving the respect he deserves, and it is truthful, not flattery, the man is an acting tour de force!

going back to the presentaion speech, isn't it so true that Nic has given us so many memorable characters?! that is what he does, brings characters to life so fully!starry
