I read this book yesterday, and now I can see why people were saying the movie was better, mainly because of the twist on Big Daddy's character at the end, which I didn't like at all. The rest of the book was fine, though. I thought the movie followed it pretty well. I would love to see what you guys think of it!
Oh, graphic novel is just a fancy word for comic book. Everybody's using it these days, and I don't mind it, but a lot of people don't like it because they feel as if it's sneering at the comic book term, so if it offends anybody I will change it to comic book.
That was a genuine question Quazie9, I am not offended. There is a difference between graphic novels and comic books, though, and since I am not a reader of either, I am not aware of Kick=Ass' origins, and was wondering. Thought maybe it started out as a comic book and then made it's way to a graphic novel, as many do.
Hi Quazie and Lady Trueheart! I still consider a comic and a graphic novel to be two entirely different beasts! So I think you are right on your last comment Quazie
