My raggedy band... ain't so purty, but we've got spirit! A creative avenue I've been stalking down of late... who knows what dark things lurk at the bottom! ;D
Horses Waiting to Die (I'm singing like a wistful porch-sitter here) The photo is of the band in total! I'm in the top left looking sleepy but chirpy, which seemed to be the mood of the moment! My good friend Tim is holding the camera and plays the drums! Joe, who is lives music and probably dreams in cadences, is to the bottom left. Corrine, who is the heart and soul of Gout Pony, is chipper faced up top!
Carmichael Relates (I think the accent is Scottish crossed with my Herzog impression) I can but apologise for the icky photo. The burbling at the start does give way to a sort of music!
Hypocritic Oafs (I'm slow rapping!) I suspect that only Lula will know who Jeremy Kyle is, pictured! :D
It's all very noisy, but I hope it tickled y'alls fancy!
This is very cool, Sprocket, and so interesting to me how creative you are in so many areas. I will listen more thoroughly tomorrow, too late now to take it in.
My god man...is there no end to your creative talents?!!!!!! GOUT PONY what an awesome band name!!!!! lol! well i must go and saturate myself in your flavour, i like the screaming as much as the rapping i must say!!! i like it, freeing somehow! Thank you for sharing with us Sprocket, 'tis my sincere hope we one day can meet and i can shake your hand in thanks for the many entertaiments and smiles you have brought to my life generally. keep us updated with progress and new songs..fully expecting to see a NIC related one in your repertoire......
LOL! you crazy nugget! Loving the Casio keyboard kinda sound and general madness then you go all 2001 Space Odyssey on us! definitely got the biggst grin on my face!!!
As for the Nic song.......let it be so.
and Lo..it shall be the memiest of Nic Cage memes!
Over the weekend Gout Pony recorded 'A Family Gouting' and Joe's done a stonking job on production - things are still ragged, but now the cuffs are tucked in! All of the above in reworked form are featured and I shall point your lovely heads towards the album proper when it is uploaded! :D Woo!
Certainly not for little kids - probably for fans of Python, The Residents and... umm... to quote King of the Hill's Bobby Hill, "diseases of the Middle Ages"!

How the frick did i miss this? I am so sorry..i really do not know where my head has been at lately, but this has brought me back with a thwack!!!!
AHAHA!! I have not got around to the album yet, but your A family Gouting awaits is brrrilliant!! It is funny and it is really good! love the lead guitar bit! it took me ages to think what that deep growly voice reminded me of...then i remembered it is that bit at the end of the Beatles 'You know my Name'!
Oh wow that's fancy! That's a whole bunch Lula! I'm pipped to the poppelwells that you like the track! It is glorious silly, but I think there needs to be more of that. I've been in a weird headspace too lately but I can totally feel I'm coming out of it! :D
Indeed, I feel revived to start back up Cage Wisdom, which is exciting! x X
P.S. I'd genuinely love to read your comments when you have a chance to listen to the album!
P.P.S. The first track deploys the f-word to some effect so no listening you lil' kids or umm in the workplace!!
