An enjoyable read! At the risk of repeating myself for the gazillionth time, I can't get it down to a top ten, and there are definitely about another 5o films to add to this list! yellowflowergrin

I love it! He does rule!

Can't narrow it down, so many that I love so much, I know that Bringing Out the Dead and Raising Arizona would be in my top 10, but so many more to compete. And now that I have finally seen 8MM I am still mulling over that amazing movie and performance.

Glad you saw 8MM at last! reel

For me it is a highly undersung movie, and Nic's performance is extremely awesome, intense, completely gripping - literally as if he reached in and grabbed my heart and stomach - the emotion that performance evokes in me is off the scale.  It is not just a dark and intense film, but because of the subject matter, a very brave choice for Schumacher to make and Nic to appear in and for me, sublimely created.

Would it appear in my top 5? Impossible to tell, because as i have said so many times before, it is not possible to compare the different genres and width and depth of range in Nics' films, which I see, with maybe a couple of exceptions,  as a long equal line of tops!! starry
