I just love this scene in National Treasure, it has to be a favourite, Benjamin Gates in a tuxedo being both a heroic and handsome maverick, about to do what was considered wrong in order to do what he knew was right.
By the way, I was on Twitter yesterday when Jerry Bruckheimer fims @JBfilms asked who people's favorite starring man was, and the unaniomous answer was Nic! Here is the twitter entry:
So far it looks like Nicholas Cage (National Treasure) is your favorite @JBFilms starring man.
Which is of course as expected , but perhaps surprising considering the Pirates of The Carribean centric focus coming for the Bruckheimer camp for eons now!
I love it too, and that one little clip is so indicative of his acting skills and range too. Tell me happy, feel-good movies can't be artistically satisfying too. At least ones populated with fine actors like the NT ones have.
That is so cool about Nic and JB's twitter, it isn't surprising to me, I know many people love those movies and adore Nic. I like the Pirates movies too, but NT has something more special to me. And who can forget Con-Air, in a class by itself.
