Here is a link to an archived magazine called Juxtapoz (Spring 1998 issue), in which Nic wrote an introduction to an article about the artist Robert Williams. You will find the article on page 62, just turn the pages. The whole magazine is really cool, though.
A very cool find Meg! thsnk you for posting, I love to read anything written by Nic himself, he writes so well and is always inspiring. I think I have read this before but not for ever such a long time!
The painting is definitely one of the language of dreams and can see where he is coming from with Heironymus Bosch, and it is an awesome (literally ) work of art, really trippy and the imagery of a mind that is open to the stream.
