6 p.m. - A panel discussion on "Urban Screens: Creating for an Urban Public" at the Drake Hotel. It's not a part of TIFF, but linked to the Toronto Urban Film Festival, and promises a "lively" discussion.
9 p.m. - Red carpet show for "Tresspass." If you miss the press conference, here's another chance to see the always entertaining Nicolas Cage in action.
wow that was awesome! so happy to have watched it live! don't forget you can see it in the archives if you missed it. Lots of amazing insights into the movie. The question about Nic's name change was a little annoying, wish we could have been there, we could have come up with some good 'uns!! I made a few notes, will post them in the movie chamber!
I forgot to think Eastern Time, and ended up trying to watch it at 3pm Saskatchewan time (currently the same as Mountain, I think). Oh well, I guess I can just watch the archives.
Great press conference. So many interesting questions and even more interesting answers.I loved what Nic said about portraying Kyle and that he emphasized the details one may not notice about the character. Now I'm even more excited for the movie,I'm preordering my DVD copy!!
I watched it late last night before I went to bed, it was wonderful to see Nic live, (almost) like that, and I really enjoyed his comments. So cute about Kal, I bet he is a going concern.
Glad you both saw it voodoo child and Lady Trueheart! It was a first for me watching Nic at a press conference live as it was happening..thrilling and awesome!
A massive thank you going out to Corey at CTV news, he was keeping me up to date with the timings and links for the live stream and was really lovely about hoping our members here at Cagealot Castle would enjoy it!
