I've never watched dr Who either, but as far as I remember back in 2009 there were rumors that Nic might appear in Dr Who series ,but Nic denied them adding that he likes the programme. So I think if they offer Nic the role ,he will consider it. I enjoy sci-fi so that would be definitely interesting to me too.

Wow, such synchronicity! I only loaded this pic up to the cagealot photobucket account a few days ago, ready to post here on the forum, because it caught my eye and have always wanted to see Nic play The Doctor!
So YES as a massive Nic fan and Doctor Who fan, I would love it !
You're right, Lady A! Synchronicity at it's best! I'm glad others think he'd be great as Dr WHO but um.....looking at that pic, I can't help but think if they gave him that hairdo for the flick yet another "what's with the hair, Nic" deluge would hit the net! LOL!
I absolutley love "Doctor Who"... It is one of the best shows on BBC America!! Love it, love it, love it!!!
You know, I remember reading where Nic was in England one time, near an area where they were shooting an episode of Doctor Who, I believe, and they asked him if he were apart of the production. Nic said, "no", but he enjoyed the show nonetheless.
LOL! I never thought of that White Fay, because the pic is Tom Baker who was the fourth Doctor, from 1974-1981, my fave Doctor WHO, because I was a little girl at the time and loved the show, so I took it as a homage to Nic in a way! I love those cosmic rays behind him!
"Nicolas Cage , Timelord" is so totally fitting don't you all think? never was there a more multidimensional actor ...and the character he would create!!! I mean... it would also explain why he showed up as a vampire and various other figures across the centuries too?!?!
Ahahaha, I love this! And you have inspired me to check out Doctor Who, who is a stranger to me, lol! So timetravel, is it? I love books about timetravel, maybe I would love this show! Maybe we should start a campaign on facebook, Nic for Doctor Wh, what do you think? I'm really excited at the thought after reading your blog entry, Lula!
ooohh!! good thinking batman! we so should! glad you feel inspired Lady T!
I would recommend if at all posssible starting at the beginning of Doctor Who, but I wonder if your film library will have this classic British tv series, or if the originals will be availabe in your country? there is a period in the 80's after Tom Baker that you could get away with skipping...the newer Doctor Who has far more sophisticated writingand I haave loved all the new doctors, especially Matt Smith, but i think the thing that is so exciting about Doctor Who is it's LEGEND status! and legend status deserves an acting LEGEND i.e NIC!!!!!
Oh My YES!!! Nick will be fantastic as a new Dr. Who. Yes, Lula like you my favorite doctor of all was the fourth Dr. Who, Tom Baker! Oh, I was in LOVE with that guy for a long time at that time he was the doctor. Been lucky to have met him and got his autograph too. Oh, I had a very good memory of a time waiting in line to meet him and boy, he (I was single at that time) got a very nice KISS from the Doctor himself. I was on cloud 9 for a very long time. What a memory!!! I even got a nice hug after the kiss too like he used to give to his lady friend (actress he had in the time machine) Sara I think her name was in the show. WOW! he was a very nice guy to meet and just like the character Tom Baker was the Doctor!!!! I got many nice photos of him in my scrap books I used to keep. What fond memories. Tom Baker used to travel the USA in Dr. Who conventions. That was where I met him.
Yes, Lula I did get a very nice and long kiss from Tom Baker and it was all his doing. All I asked was a kiss (thought I get one on my cheek only) boy, was I was in a short of shock when he kissed me right on my LIPS! Very nice kiss and boy his mouth was so smooth and soft lips. Then after that he gave me a very nice big hug like he did with Sara Jane in one of the Doctor Who show. Forgot the name of which one it was. I was so amazed I got that much of him. No other fan got that at all. Come to find out he loves tall dark brown hair and eyes girls. ha ha. I was it at that time. Just a fond memory. YES, I will join our Nic for Doctor Who Campaign. What do you have to do? Just spread the word around?
Yes, it was Lula! I was just floating all the rest of my time at the convention by then. Now I will love to have that with Nick. Ha Ha. Never happen due to the fact he's married. Tom was not married when he kissed me and so was I not married. I never told my hubby about this time but then it was way before I met him any way. Just a fan's dream come true sort of thing. Love it! I also had wonderful times meeting and greeting with the Bee Gees over the years too. In Florida. At their studio where fans could meet them in person and get autographs and photos taken with them. Now since Maurice Gibb died back in 2003 their studio is no longer there any more. Too many memories for the guys. It's all gone but not forgotten! Just like Maurice (Mo) was. I'm happy to find out that Barry and Robin Gibb (the ones that are left) may get together and do some new music again and hope this will happen for their fans. We miss them on stage. Robin had some bad scare health issues almost like his twin brother Maurice had but lucky he survived it. There is a lovely photo of both of them on Robin's website on his Blog section. You don't have to belong to his site to see it. You just click on robingibb.com and on the top of the page fine where it says News & Blogs. Just click on that then you just click on the Blog section that Robin answers and talks to his fans there. The first one is the photo. He's looks poor due to the fact he was sick. Glad he's fine.
Hi Lula and Lady Arwen, Well, I found out just recently more about why Robin Gibb was so sick. He has lung cancer. SAD news to find out about my fab Gibb brother. Anyway, he's doing cemo and other treatments for this and has been doing the best as he can. Lets hope and pray he gets better soon so he can sing with his brother, Barry again.
