In Nic world I have always been known as Lula, which is obviously a homage to Wild At Heart.

Then one day, Cagealot Castle was born, the name just literally landed in my head, and I liked it because it is a nod to Camelot Castle here in England where Nic was put forward for the Knighthood of Creativity, and to the Arthurian legends, which Nic has famously said he has a strong interest in, and which influenced The Sorcerer's apprentice.

CAGE ALOT also sums up what this place is all about!

'Argante' was goddess Queen of Avalon, also known as the silver queen. Known for her healing powers, in Arthurian literature she healed Arthurs wounds, but some see her as the same as morgan le fay, others as a separate being entirely. i like the ambiguity!

Argante, known as the Silver Queen, appears only once in Arthurianliterature.  She  was identified a British heroine or goddess who was queen of the Otherworld island of Avalon. The mortally wounded Arthur declares thathe will go to Avalon, "to the fairest of all maidens, and she shall make my wounds fully whole."  She will heal him so that he can return to his British kingdom.  Nowhere else does the name Argante appear. 

Shortly thereafter, a barge carrying two women arrives, and they take the king away.   It was to Argante thatArthur was taken to be cured of his mortal wounds, and it is from her realm he has not yet returned. Some believe that her name is a title or other name for Morgan le Fay, while others perceive her as co-ruler of Avalon completely distinct from Morgan.

becouse Eva-May is a name not common, I don't have a meaning of it, but I do have the meaning of Eva, and May seperate:

Eva:

breathe of life, it is a Latin name :) And also, what my mum and lady A told me, mother of everyone. (wich I luckily am not, I would be quiet fat then )

This is a scottisch girls name, the meaning is scotisch form from Margaret, or with other words, pearl :)

Well.....Fay White or as I was previously known....White Fay...... is the Welsh form for Guinevere...( Sir Lancelot's true love).  it supposedly means The White Enchantress or the White Ghost.   I thought it was an appropriate name for a lady who hung around a castle.  LOL!   Oh!  And believe it or not, I once wrote a poem about Sir Lancelot......Maybe one of these days I'll drag it out and share it with all of you.....
