Very NICe! I find waxworks somewhat creepy, but I would still go to see Nic's! Here are a few more pictures, I love Nic's grey suit, he looks very smart in it. The article says he donated his own clothes for the waxwork!
Also, I think this is related to this thread from awhile ago.
PARIS - American actor Nicolas Cage has launched its wax double at Grevin Museum in Paris, Sunday night at a ceremony in a small group, noted AFP.
Came specially to Paris to the facility the "Pantheon of wax," Nicolas Cage discovered his wax statue in Grevin's Hall of Columns. Is to double its nearest neighbor Charlie Chaplin and Michael Jackson.
The actor wanted to appear for eternity in a relaxed style, in blue shirt, jeans and boots, his own clothing donated to the museum proposed in the tradition of the famous residents.
Nicolas Cage joins in Grévin other Hollywood actors including Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
"I visited for the first time the Grevin museum at the age of 19. I was very impressed and I wanted to be there one day. Thank you for this dream come true. I am very proud and happy, "said the actor about-face in discovering a very similar double before a private tour of the museum.
"Nicolas Cage has had a meteoric rise through the key roles that have quickly made it popular. He received an Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas (1995), "recalled the Grevin.
Grevin which celebrates its 130 years, with over 800,000 visitors each year, will host the forthcoming double Lambert Wilson, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nolwenn Leroy and Teddy Riner.
I wouldn't say bad as it must take much time to create something as this and the statue itself is welL, but indeed it doesn'r realy looks much like him the shape of the head isn't right and compared to the other ones it is indeed less god

Thank you for the detail and the extra pics Lady T, these are lovely ones!
I find waxworks both fascinating and strange, it kind of reminds me of something carnivalesque and macarbre..but NICe to think that Nic as a totalsuperstar is immortalised in this way all over the world.
Funny! I thought it looked a bit taller side by side. I suppose they do measurements when they make these things, don't they? Be pretty freaky to know there is a few other yous standing around in this world, I think!
Nic looks amazing in that suit. In fact, I don't think i've ever seen him sport that particular pattern! Oh, and I love the hanky in the pocket. Very proper - indeed!
Still not enough Nicolas Cage to go round though Lady Trueheart! ;biggrin:
Lol, I loved that part too eva, it was as if Nic didn't know how far he could take that, lol, broke the ice in what was a pretty formal event. It must be quite a self conscious thing standing up there with your wax double with the eyes of the world upon you!
I love the slim fitted cut of Nic's suit too Gina .. show off his amazing physique and he can really carry it off... with the straight black tie.... he looks incredibly handsome !
Note...the wax work has got Nic's trademark pointy boots!
haha that's a quite funny vid ^^ lol, when I was in the Amsterdam wax museum I didn't rely felt scared by these statues but I do have to say it is amazing how realy they look! Lol, like the part when he says that he can't look to it for to long becouse it might turn it's head

He did have lots of fun with it, didn't he?!! I am sure actors see their images all the time and get used to it, but still that initial unveiling must have been pretty freaky. Boo! His accent was not to shabby either. Thanks Fay, nice clip!
