We have space for some lucky readers to join us on the evening of Friday, February 10th at a secret location in New York City to sip spooky cocktails, dance to terror tunes and raise hellfire with the inimitable Johnny Blaze himself, Nicolas Cage.
Note that in order to gain entry, winners must obey the Ghost Rider enforced dress code of black leather, metal, steampunk, goth and general badass rock and roll chic.
How fun would that be?!! And to meet Nic, wow!! Though it is possible that he may just make an appearance and say a few awe-inspiring words, it would still be a thrilling experience! Maybe we should have our own Party Till You Scream here! I am in the mood to scream bloody h*** these days!!
I sure hope some real hardcore NIC fans have the honour!! From their recent magazine covers and Nic interview it certainly seems like FANGORIA really GET Nic and his work!
well, New York City, I am afraid you will have to do without the pleasure of our company this time, we have our own long planned CAGEALOT Ghost Rider: Spirit Of vengeance party to appear at, right here at the castle, where anyone in the world can attend! and to which Sir Nicolas is obviously, virtually, invited! and yes.. our outifts are planned
Great pictures! I love how Nic is rocking out with his jewelry. Most men don't have the kahunas to do that! I notice Alice has lightened her hair considerably. Change is good!
Columbia Pictures and FANGORIA combined forces with New York’s creepiest party spot Times Scare this past Friday for a super psychedelic shocktail party honoring Nicolas Cage and the impending release of his latest genre romp GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. Jump past the jump for a whole bunch of exclusive photos, snapped by King-Wei Chu.
Two hundred Fango fans crammed their black-leather-clad behinds into the labyrinthine Gothic lounge/haunted attraction, guzzling drinks appropriately named the Johnny Blaze and the Screaming Skull, and sharing space with an upbeat Cage (2nd photo below) as well as GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE co-stars Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth and directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (3rd photo, Taylor 2nd from left, Neveldine 2nd from right). Cage also took some time to judge a contest with Fango editor Chris Alexander (4th photo with wife Carrie), in which brave partiers did their best Cage-turning-into-the-Ghost-Rider scream, with the star offering post-howl comments and winners going home with posters, T-shirts and signed copies of FANGORIA #310, inked by Cage and the rest of the present GHOST RIDER alumni.
Also on hand were other members of the Fango team, including Thomas DeFeo (5th photo), Michael Gingold (6th photo) and Tony Timpone (7th photo, right), along with director Neveldine’s lovely wife, DRAG ME TO HELL star Alison Lohman (8th photo), and Troma honcho Lloyd Kaufman (9th photo), as well as CHAINSAW SALLY SHOW masterminds JimmyO Burril and April Monique Burril. Be sure to pick up FANGORIA #310 with its Cage-tastic cover story, and the second part of that chat in the upcoming FANGORIA #311. GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE opens everywhere this Friday, February 17!
Ultimately cool!!! How lucky were those 200 fans!!! How gracious is Nicolas to have given up one of his evenings to hang out with fans! LOVING HIM EVEN MORE!!!
