Hi guys, I just came across this cool interview today, not overmuch sure if it has been posted before. It's not merely an interview for Bringing Out the Dead I think. Hats off to Prairie Miller for bringing us an engaging interview with Nic. And MUCH thanks to this cool fan blog for sharing it online for us all to enjoy.
What a wonderful and awesome interview! I can`t remember, reading it here, so thank you, for posting it, Tues! I really enjoyed it! Wonderful insights from Nic! :)

Joy! What an epic read, I do enjoy thse longer more in depth Nic interviews, thank you so much for posting Tues.
I have seen bits of this before but possibly not the whole thing, or if I have, I've forgotten. Bringing Out The Dead and Snake Eyes are both incredible movies, and seemed to slip under the big radar..but they stand proud in Nic's filmography as really amazing and timeless films........great to hear Nic talking about them It must have been liberting for Nic not to be recognized when he was riding with the paramedics..with folks who were in life and death situations..real human to human connection wihout any BS, in the most exteme of circumstances.
Reading this I am struck by what a life Nic has led, being an actor brings so many experiences to your door!
PM: Let's switch to acting for a minute. How do you overcome being burned out as an actor?
NC: Oh, yeah. Well, I have to just find material that doesn't...burn me out! You know, I have to stay interested. I'm somebody who is very happy when he's working, and happy when I'm doing something that stimulates me creatively. And I think that's the best way not to become burned out. I have the little things that I do in my own life to relax and regroup, things like that. But mostly it's about the material you choose.
Reading an interview that Nic did many years ago as compared to now, he truly is consistent with his way of thinking and how he approaches a role or how he feels about it. Very cool.
