I don`t know, eva, as I`m no expert in art, but to me, it looks like a pencil draw! (That`s how it appears to me). But the artist explains his technique under the pic on his site, if you click on the link, eva! :)

But, isn't the one piece a photo and the other a drawing? I think it is, I know they can draw very real like but I think it is a drawing cut and put on a photo! But I could be wrong of course

I love this scanner. Here's an art project that sucked. It's end of tri so im uploading my least suckish pictures lol. So yeah. If you have any questions on how I did it. Please ask.
Original Cage I printed off a website and then cut out in this line pattern and put the others on a piece of paper so I could draw the missing pieces to the face.
Tools used: Smudge Tool and a lot of HB pencils
The artist did explain it, also she/he is good kind enough to answer any questions, right?
