So I was Chatting with some Stranger on the Internet the other day and we were talking about movies. He told me when he meets someone new he describes his personality with movie characters.
So I was thinking about that and I think that can be fun. I really had to think about that for a while and I didnt really came up with a character Nic played because thats the movies I thought about first^^.
But i think if you want to describe me there are two movies to choose:
First theres Ryan Gosling´s Driver Character in the movie Drive. Thats maybe sounds a bit frightening first, but I was kinda shocked when I saw the film because that taciturn Driver he played could have really been me. So I wouldnt have to act much if I had the role^^
The second movie would clearly be one of the early Rocky movies. Sylvester Stallone plays this young dreamer kid who doesnt speak much too. Whos very ambitious in what he does especially when it comes to sports. He´s also clearly a absolute Hopeless Romantic.
So I guess you can say i´m a person whos more quiet then others, needs to have certain people around him but prefers to handle most things hisself.
but Also a ambitious person who dreams about nothing but Girls and achiving his goals in life.

Yeah that's a pretty interesting idea indeed! That's a nice description of yourself Flo! I haven't seen any of these movies, though I think I have seen parts of rocky a long time ago.
There are a lot movies but my thoughts went right away to his movies too. I am trying to think of others too but it's difficult as I'm quite brainwashed by Nic ^^.
I should think about this a little longer, but first of all my thoughts went to Terence, Nic in the bad luitenant. Not the being on drugs or so, but the way he acts, crazy, but caring.
Then I think, Seth, a little too. Because, all he thinks of is love and being with that person that he wants to be with so much but can't. It's all that's on his mind and he can't stop it. He gets quite hurt and tears fall, though he still knows there will always be love.
I'm a person who is quite crazy and likes to be, but I do realize I am and don't want to change it becouse I like being that way. Though a lot of people wouldn't think it of me I do have a lot of feelings that I would only show to the people that are most important to me, and not just to anyone. So, Terence came up because he fits best to that. Also, I basicly live on love, I as I kind of said can't think of anything else, and without I would simply die, but there never is no love. Then, for me not just with one person as with Seth, but the friends close to me, and the persons I love so deeply.
Okay!:) I think that was it for now, I have to think and if I find someone else, or someone who is a better description then I will post it here. It's quite stupid, I have seen a lot of movies, but I often don't know the titles and that makes it hard to think of them.

Yeah indeed! And that's a lot Flo! How long are you actually already into movies?
I wonder how much movies I have seen. I know I have seen quite a lot movies, well not as much as you probably, but I guess that's normal. I have seen a lot but like, on the tv zapping, missing a little bit and not remembering the title. I am going to make a list with all the movies I've seen by genre.
Maybe I then find a good one inbetwee 'em :).

Okay! Lol in my case I've tried to think of a woman but can't really think of one. Did think of Tom Hansen in 500 days of summer. It's hard to find someone that describes yourself good enough.

well actually i´ve always been into movies i already were intrested in watching and so.

so have you seen drive yet?

Interesting thread, Flo, and one that really requires some thought. I want to say that I am like Ripley, from the Alien movies, because she is my action hero, no one is more bad-ass! But alas, I think probably I only have one of her characteristics, which is that I am very stubborn and can persevere.
I will also compare myself to Dorothy, from the Wizard of Oz, in that I am a dreamer, and like Dorothy, my dreams are sometimes unrealistic!
Like Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With The Wind, I prefer to worry about things tomorrow, and like Lady from Lady and the Tramp, I used to be very prissy until I met someone who showed me that it more fun to be yourself!
Although, certainly not as quirky and charming as the Lovely Amelie, I can relate to her as the shy dreamer who didn't fit in. But then again so was Carrie!
I will finish of with Kathleen from You've Got Mail, who loved books and small, independent bookstores!
Oh yeah indeed! Well there are a lot I probably forget but till now I am ashamed of my list, one page almost both sides. But there are some classics I should watch, like Star wars etc. But there are so many movies I still want to see. Except that I do think the ones I have seen are pretty good ones.
No, I have not. But, together with 'Abraham Lincoln the vampire hunter' it stands on top of my list to watch :). And I think I will watch it monday eve, as tonight I need to go to my dad and sunday I can't. I'll let you know when I do ok?:)
That's a lot Lady T, unfortunatly I haven't seen any of these movies either :/. Well, I have seen a nice cartoon version of the wizard of oz, but it's too long ago to remember who was who.

Yours was interesting too, Flo, I enjoyed reading it and it gives a little insight into who you are! I must say it is not a way I am used to thinking, but now I will probably be looking for common characteristics when I watch movies!
I liked Drive a lot, found the ending a little ambiguous,
Spoiler
did he die or get away, it wasn't clear to me, and why didn't she go with him?
well i think he clearly survived because you saw him driving away after the last fight. and they didnt get each other because she was too shocked from the elevator scene. and she was too late when she wanted to talk to him later, i suppose. but they are working on a sequel so maybe in the next one.
did you also like the scorpion jacket? I ordered mine a few hours ago =)

I've seen Drive =) It was better than I expected, the music was great and it was exciting. A little muc blood but it was ok and sure fit the movie, and Ryan Gosling was very handsome :). But, also acted great. I think the movie sure does deserve it's prices.
If I may answer that too Flo, the scorpion jacket was cool, are you going to have one exactly like he had? I'm sure it will fit you, also for the fact that you're a scorpio right?:)

I wish I had the ability to describe myself very well as you guys did... As I said I hadn't had a lot of movie experiences... Anyway I shall take these roles into consideration before I can come up with the others':
Castor Troy from Face/Off
Roy from Matchstick Men
Peter Loew from Vampire's Kiss
Ben Gates from National Treasure series
Jack from Honeymoon In Vegas
Stanley from the Rock
Charlie from Adaptation
Ben Sanderson from Leaving Las Vegas
Terence from BL: POCNO
Lula from Wild At Heart
Big Daddy from Kick-Ass
As you can see from the list, I have described myself as a PARADOX, I felt scared as child, even I had been thinking what the multiple personalities was, no idea if I still need doctors for this. Perhaps this is the reason I admire him.
