With the release of the first Stolen trailer, I am kind of in a Nicolas Cage / Simon West mood. This cool video contains possibly all the most extreme action from Con Air and is a real celebration of that collaboration !
Note: Not for the squeamish or easily offended, it contains the most violent and gory parta of the film.
Watched it, great as ever! And, dodododo, Lula, but I never even realized till I got to the letter part in the movie that today is actually July 14th, or at least it was when I watched it! Did you think of that when you started this thread?
Zoo Keeper and I thought it would be a good idea to have a Con-Air Day every July 14th, where is she these days anyway?

OMG, I love this movie so much! Great song for the clip too. It is odd that I have always loved this movie from the first viewing, cinsidering I really don't get into violence much, but it is a movie that never gets old, and now I am going to get my copy and watch it again!

That is a pretty good question, Lady T.! Spontanously, I can think of Knowing, where the date for the end of the world is 10.19. (09), but I`m not sure, if that should be celebrated, as it isn`t actually the real date, where the "the old age" ends, and the "new age" begins (according to an old mayan calender). Then, of course, the date 9/11, where that horrible attacks at the WTC and 2 other places in America happend in 2001, and Nic played one of the Port Authority - heroes in the movie World Trade Center! Maybe, there are more dates, but currently, I can`t recall them! :)
btw: the date July, 14th (from Con Air) is "Bastille Day" in france (where, the french celebrate their "independence day").

Maybe, we could also celebrate "National Treasure Day" on 4th of July (because, in the first part, there is alot about the Declaration of Independence and the history of this special day)? Just a suggestion! :)
