It all seems very odd with this film eh....first Dec for release then March.......now apparently June 28th....seems quite a bizarre time to release such a film so we will see if it sticks to it.

That might not mean anything. Personally I think its quite a bad time to release such a dark film- and wouldve thought more of a Sept/Oct release be better? If this is true than I would expect a new trailer or some more official news soon- maybe end of April?

 

Just have to see!

I think so too that a winter release would have been perfect for this movie. but anyways i hope this is true because i ant wait to see that movie.

I hope, we will get a reliable date for the release soon! I`m so tired of those delays all the time! yawnAnd, it seems to me, that they do that only with Nic`s movies! I don`t get, why they do that with his movies lately! :(

Good news, at least for german NICsters: The DVD-release for Frozen Ground in Germany is 13 December! It is for pre order on amazon.de! I already pre ordered mine! Looking forward to it!chickendance

It is out here, but I have not bought it yet. I hope to buy it soon, have been somewhat cash strapped lately. I watched it on pay tv though, and it was good. Nic was excellent, low key and intense, as all have said. He really captured the dignity and uprightness of a good policeman, I thought. The other actors were great too, I thought Cusack was suitably creepy. I enjoyed the setting, and the sombre and beautiful filmography was perfect for the story, as was the music. I thought the director did a good job with such a horrifying story, and the only thing I didn't like was the gratuitous scenes of the young girl dancing in the strip club, it had no contribution to the story and was just put in for the hope of drawing viewers. Probably did, at that.

I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts, Lady R! Not long now.

Great, that you, already, saw it, Lady T.! Looking forward, when it is released in less than two month here! Till then, I will watch "the croods" on dvd! I know, it`s not the same, but, I`m looking forward to watching it since it was for pre order!^^
