Hi people of Cagealot Castle! I'd like to introduce myself on this wonderful forum! My name is Hugo. I'm 19 years old and I'm a filmstudent at the University of Utrecht. Currently I'm doing a pretty intensive full time internship at a filminstitute. Because I missed writing about film (which I had to do quite a lot at the university), I thought about starting an interesting filmblog! Since I already knew a lot about Nicolas Cage and I wanted to learn more about him, his films, his fans and his haters as well, I started a blog called Caged Cinema. The core concept of my blog is: Understanding and Appreciating the cinema of Nicolas Cage. My ultimate goal is to review all Nicolas Cage films and provide articles with interesting news or reflections on Nicolas Cage. I came around this blog when I was doing some research on finding people operating in the same niche as I am. I simply searched for "Nicolas Cage Forum" on google and I got here. I've already been lurking for a bit and I must say I'm impressed with the content of this forum. Some reviews really hit a right tone and I like the fact that recent newsbites (like the announcement of Nicolas Cage in The Dying of the Light) are discussed around here. Thank you for introducing yourself, Hugo, and welcome to the forum. Glad to hear that you like what you have seen here. I am always happy to read new opinion pieces, blogs, etc, about Nic and his body of work, it is fascinating to see how broad his appeal is! I am going to check out your blog right now.
