Christopher is a very active and proficient filmaker who enjoys educating others on the process of film making especially of the Digital kind.  He has his own website and a couple of interactive blogs including this one and one on Facebook.  Check them out!

Well, that was really interesting, a very creative and interesting man, it seems. I think he has the family passion for what he believes in. I may have missed it in the video, but I did not hear how this is funded, I wonder if he funds it himself? Doesn't sound like a moneymaking thing.

Are you familiar with the work of the Kuchars?  If not, you should track down the documentary "It Came From Kuchar," which documents their work as truly independent filmmakers on the fringe.  I have no idea how Devin stumbled across this, but he ran a short he discovered of George Kuchar visiting Christopher Coppola at the mansion of Nicolas Cage back in the early '90s.  And the video is every bit as bizarre as you might hope: Oh, Nic.  You complete me.

 Actually this particular piece was filmed at Nic's home in San Francisco because Christopher was a student of Mr. Kuchar who is sadly dying of cancer and who had taught at the University in San Francisco. 

Christopher recently took a trip to the San Francisco BayArea to be with Mr. Kuchar before he passes.

Were you all aware that Mr. Kuchar passed away Sept. 6? RIP GEORGE KUCHAR.
