Hi everyone! I bumped into a lovely lady named Raya from MBC Scoop on Twitter a few weeks ago (@rayascoop) when she was just about to interview Nic in Barcelona! She asked for question suggestions from fans, I hurriedly offered four off the top of my head! Then forgot all about it. The interview was on the 28th July and up on the web a couple of weeks later...and..... She asked Nic 2 of my questions!! I wish I had thought of better questions, but atleast it was something different from all the interviews where he had to repeat the same kind of answers over and over again for TSA! So grateful to Raya, she had such a fantastic, warm and positive energy and a great rapport with Nic, who does look exhausted after a long parade of publicity all over the world for the film, but I felt her warmth made him smile. And so grateful to Nic for answering my questions...it's totally made my week, month, year! Raya shared this picture of the interview day, with the caption, "Nicolas and Jay having fun together" I love the way their images echo behind them in the poster... From here to infinity! Has anyone managed to watch this yet? I would love to hear your thoughts! In case you cannot see the video here is a transcript below! This interview was for The Sorcerer's Apprentice press campaign, so I wanted to ask a couple of questions that were related but interesting and some that were completely different, because it must be so boring answering the same questions over and over! So my first two were with magic in mind the others were random! My Questions: 1. What is the most magical thing to have ever happened to you? 2. With magic in mind, which do you prefer 'creating reality' or going 'with the flow' 3. Did he ever receive the much deserved knighthood from Camelot Castle for Knight of Creativity, and he would always be the knight of our castle! 4. Thinking along the lines of him being the master sorcerer to an apprentice, i started to think about him being the Director. My question was: I love Sonny, it's intelligent and beautiful. Do you see yourselfdirecting again? Raya asked him question 2 and 4 ( in all fairness the others were probably too personal and in retrospect i was glad she didn't ask them!) Transcript of this segment of the interview! Raya: My next questions come from the Nic Cage Superfans on Twitter.. Nic: Oh looks surprised Raya: they're big fans of yours... and one of them is do you believe in creating reality or going with the flow? Nic: Oh! Looks bit more surprised well I think you have to have a little bit of both Raya: and a question is about having directed Sonny and they love it very much and they were just wondering if you were interested in directing again Nic: Well Sonny was a movie that sort of took a little while to find it's audience, but I'm very proud of that movie, especially with the performances, and I would like to direct again, but I need enough time to do it, but I hope to in the next few years yes. __________________

Hi eva and Tues, thanks for you comments! I have nnot been able to fathom why noone responded to this when I posted it way back in 2010! Yes, it is sad the video has gone from the site now eva, but I am glad I did a transcript at the time. Lol, honestly, I squirm now when i look back at the questions i came up with on the spot, but I couldnt agree with you more Tues about Nic's silver tongue! __________________

Aw, that's sweet Tues and eva..no worries though you don't need to make me feel better about it, i am quite open about my fandom confliction at times! as one who abhors the whole celeb merry go round, finding myself a 22 year long fan of an actor is somewhat baffling and contradictory even to me after all these years! lol! Hi Lula, Oh, this was so cool you getting two of your questions answered by our own NICK!!! How lucky for you and happy you had that opportunity. So sorry, for not getting responses here as I just found out about this now too. I'm not sure when I came on this fan website. Anyway, thanks, for posting the questions and Nick's responses too. I try with the link and yes it's gone now. I like to have seen his face responses to those questions. I don't think those were bad questions at all. I would have freezed up just knowing that Nick would maybe answered my questions if I put up nice questions at all. I'm not too good with that or I would use ones that I may just want to know more about the actor and some of his other movies.
