I see a faery if I catch a glimpse in the mirror, lol! I often feel the energy of people and things, including plants so you could say i feel the monad or spirit of plants for example and some could be described as faeries Lady True....or maybe I am just weird. happily so! Peter Pan
oooh excellent question Meg..... can't I have a glass slipper that also acts like a magic lamp when you rub it! I'll take that as a no but I'll say yes to both because we are playing the wrong game again! lol!
have you ever made a wish that immediately came true?!
It feels very rational to me Lady True! You mean a huge celestial body in our solar system, for example the moon with it's proven magnetic energy ( tides ) cannot effect us too? For me, it's logical captain! :starsmiad: You know, it's more irrational to wander through life with tunnel vision thinking the only thing that can affect us is us, in our insular little worlds..focussing on the things that don't really matter..and not even noticing that big ball of fire up there that gives life to everything on earth including us, or that bright white ever changing yet constant beautiful radiant ball of light that appears at night!
Lol...sorry what was the question?
Does Saint Nick exist? Of course he does! Ask the elves!
Are you going to leave out something for santa and the elves tonight? Some cookies, a lasagne, some pickles perhaps?!:
lol I just noticed your santa hat pickle eating pic lady True! couldn't see it yesterday without netbook! I posted that one in the caption too..that's one heck of a pickle!!! I did learn that little rhyme Lady True! and I was very connected to the stars as a very young child.and again in adulthood!
ooh good question! yes, I think it was spirally mobile thing you hang from the ceiling! how about you?
have you ever been awake. with absolutely no sleep, for longer than 48 hours?
These posts about stars make me think of a fantasy/sci-fi book I used to love, 'A Wrinkle In Time', by Madeleine L'Engle, have you ever read it? It is part of a wonderful young adult series. Must look it up again.
My first gift was probably a picture frame made with popcycle sticks, we used to make things like that a lot in school. And lovely they were.
Yes, I have been awake for more than 48 hours, when I was in a lot of pain once with no relief to be found till they finally gave me some demerol. The very word demerol makes me happy to this day. At other times I have been awake for long periods, when my grandson was born comes to mind, but I think had a few head nodding moments. How about you?

I haven't read it Lady True, but do love so called children's fiction, one can never grow out of the infinite realm of the imagination...and children's fiction has that license to be completely unbounded and free..in a way that most adult ficton does not?
i have gone without sleep for an inhuman length of time..long enough to really see what happens to the human body when it starts to close down...when i was particularly unwell and the sleep mechanism completely went..no medication alternative or otherwise helped..it was a long dark night of the soul..a particularly profound time which actually in retrospect was an enormous gift in terms of 'waking me up' in more ways than one!!!
