oh that's a tricky one Cagecrazy..love listening to epic anthemic music walking in the rain, but love the magical timeless quality of snow..because snow happens less often i will go for that!
oh gosh..i love peace and quiet and passion and noise! I have found true peace and inner quiet can happen in the midst of any noise and sometimes silence is the loudest clearest sound when you truly listen...so i will have my peace and passion please lady true!
black coffee i always get up early n sleep very late (cuz i have to face stress of entering a key university),drinking tea will take a long time , making tea is fun but there llbe latent health hazards if u dont do it in a reasonable way, so coffee would be the better choice for me
Norman Borlaug - who I'm embarassed to say I'd never heard of before, but is my kind of humanitarian, dedicated to making the lives of humans better in useful, tangible ways. Bill Gates is remarkable, but his monopolising is frustrating; while Mother Teresa was a deeply charitable person, my views on abortion and contraception are very different to her own - though I would not let that negate the amazing work that she achieved.
Largely agree with you re mother teresa Sprocket..as a spiritual person who doesn't believe in following a docrine or belief system, i find myself both in resonance and conflicted with her work and words, but who could overlook such spiritual truths as these:
Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls
We can do no great things; only small things with great love
If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.
lol... i thought you were referrng to the heinous Nick Griffin from the uk BNP oarty *shudder* and was ready to select Golem, even thougb i had no idea who it was, until i looked it up and realised you were referring to mythical creatures! [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem[.url] So I will go for Griffin, but very clearly state i am referring to the winged creature!
hahaha I'm surprised that nasty bunion of a man hasn't tried to claim the griffin as a national symbol and now I'm just imagining his head attached to the body of a large, clawsome, winged creature! 'orrible!
wolves - because my friend Heather wrote a play called 'Howling Moon', which featured a wonderful wolf character and costume!
ohhhhhhh I have just eaten but all of a sudden my tastebuds are tantlized....food is beautiful to me when it is from the earth or the tree. so whole. i am breaking strictly vegan rules eating honey though i only eat it occasionally because i am not much of sweet tooth..more a savoury spice kind of person! poppies and orchids are both exquisite...i think i will go for poppy for it's vibrant fragitity and it is one of my nicknames!i can see where you were going with that Sprocket..meadows of dancing grasses and wild red poppies like splashes of love on the earth,
Ah yes..the beautiful willow, so gentle and delicate yet whispering ancient wisdoms if you listen...i would love to hear more about willows in your culture Tues, I love them, such an expressive tree with a very deep energy...here in the UK,the Mighty Oak has greattraditional importance and is almsot our sacred tree, the Great Oaks of Sherwood Forest, Rodin Hood land...
oh Tues just give us two things to choose between will ya, my brain can't handle 3!! my answer is it depends on my mood! I love a good comedy as a great therapy, but it would be between romance and melodrama for favourite..I would prob go for melodrama!
