Oscar winner Nicolas Cage and writer/director Joel Schumacher will be the guests at a Robinson Film Center fundraiser to be held Saturday. They will be at a Welcome Mat Series double-feature of the 2002 film “Sonny,” produced and directed by Cage and starring James Franco, and “8MM” from 1999, directed by Schumacher and starring Cage, that will be staged Saturday at 5 p.m. Tickets are $125 each. All fundraiser proceeds will benefit the educational and cultural programs of The Robinson Film Center, a release says.
