Blessings to All who celebrate at the Autumn Equinox And Harvest full moon!
Now is the time of the wheel of the year when day and night are equal length.
A time of perfect balance.
A time to be grateful for the harvest and for all the past has given us.
Because the equinox is occurring within a few hours of the harvest full moon this year, it is also the perfect time to harness the energies of release and let go.
To release the past and allow the rebirth of new life. To remember our loved ones passed over and to let them go. To acknowledge and honour the past, but fully embrace the ever shining present moment of infinite abundance.
Today I have been doing a balance meditation with breathing, releasing the past on the outbreath, being in the present on the pause and welcoming in the new on each in breath.
If anyone would like to try this meditation please enjoy:
Thanks for this, Lula, it was beautiful and inspirational to read. I have always loved moon imagery in art, music, and verse, and I love to see the Lady Moon sailing the night skies. It made me think a lot about the past and letting go. I enjoy what you have to say.
Aw dear Lady T..I'm so glad if it was inspiring to you in any way, and it sounds like you too have a connection with our beautiful moon?
The moon plays a very powerful part in my life (and the sun actually) ...we are so tiny, like sparkles of dust.. in their powerful eternal light... yet on the whole as beings hardly ever acknowledge their influence and importance in our existence. It's good to remember our connection with the universe, and to be humbled and honour our planet and the dance all the cosmic bodies play in creating this miraculous existence that is ours!
And thank you so much for sharing the Sarah Brightman performance, very beautiful. Ooh and wouldn't she fit right in here at the castle with her gorgeous costume?! I'd love the sparkly tiara!:quarry:
