Lady T, have you ever heard of classic soul artist Joe Tex? He's pretty raw but hilarious and enjoyable music. He performed this song on the classic tv show Soul Train. My mom (god rest her soul) owned the record.
Anyway, whats w/ the song w/ a guy complainin' like she's moved on?
Is this the go for 3 to 5, or 6yrs, w/out sezzx marathon? Probably. Seems to be the effort thats involved me. But, don't feel sorry, you, could be a monk, too; or a monkey.
Hi Gina, You can call me Lady T, but I can't sing Like Teena!
I have never heard of Joe Tex before, but I do love this song, it is very funky. I hear some James Brown and some Aerosmith in there (oddly), love it! We never got Soul train here in Nova Scotia, to my regret.
@ Lady T: Ahhhhh, the ever-so-classic "Soul Train" and it's wonderful "Soul Train Line". I'm glad you enjoyed Joe Tex!!! What other classic soul artists you've listened too? By the way, where is Nova Scotia? It sounds like a charming place!!!!!
I really love Aretha and Gladys Knight, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Junior Walker, Earth, Wind and Fire, some motown stuff, mostly stuff from my young days of music, late 60's and 70's, I guess. I listen to the blues channel on the radio a lot, actually I like bluesy soul the best I guess, though I don't know who most of those artists are I'm listening too!
Nova Scotia is a province in Canada, on the east coast, north of Maine and Massachusetts.
