has anyone read the novel by Philip K Dick that Nic's film NEXT is based on? I would love to know if that was the original ending..... flowerface

I've read the book and I found the movie nothing like the book.  And I mean....virtually nothing.  If I still have it and can find it, I'll send it to you.

Wow, that's weird! The similarity is just in name only then?! No character name references? I wonder if the idea of it being a straight adaptation was a myth all along?!

So is Nic's character not in there at all, either, or does he just have a different name in the book?

The character Nic played in NEXT was very, and I mean.....VERY.....loosely based on the Golden Man in the book.

Really? That's strange. I was just wondering becuase I thought about reading the book if can I find it. I'm curious about how different it is from the movie.
