my oh my,i don't really know what to say,except..thank you very much for the O-U-T-R-A-G-E-O-U-S-L-Y-M-A-R-V-E-L-O-U-S Posting~FAERY QUEEN~
hi lady Fay indeed you are decent & well-spoken person, god no,y'allllllll all of te quotations are my inspiration!!i simply could get enough of them and as a result they make the my world seem a little bit more wonderfulas always!!
Thank you Tues, what an open person you are, that is an inspiration in itself and I agree with Whte Fay as you know, about how amazing your english is, none of us here could reciprocate, so you are doing so well!
Dear Bon, nononono please never aspire to be anyone other than who you are...and as you know this life has taken mw to some real depths of pain, and although the gift is realisation,,,one really doesn't need to go through anything to be who they already are! you really do not have to wait until next lifetime, it is a choice you have now, right here and now. and, the irony is of course that what i was trying to say (badly) in my post before last, and what Eckhart Tolle is saying much better, is that it is only us who remove oursleves from what is already here within, it is not far away, it is not some attainment, it is the willingness to be present in every moment.
I really totally recommend reading Tolle's THE POWER OF NOW to everybody...it is probably the book i would take to a desert island if only allowed one! And if you are looking for more inspiration ,it is the books of Eckhart Tolle that Jim Carrey credited his awakening to.....
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.
This one reminded me of Nic: "for the whole universe, and all that is in it, what is it but the infinite playground of the Crowned and Conquering Child, of the insatiable, the innocent, the ever-rejoicing Heir of Space and Eternity, whose name is MAN?". - Aleister Crowley, 'Little Essays Toward Truth'
i didn't know who said this quote"what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." thank you so much, and oddly, it triggers me something that hurts much again
Some old guy named Vince Lom8ardi (*SNRK*) has a whole 8unch of quotes a8out winning. He's got a dum8 name but he has the right idea!!!!!!!! I do like that one quote a8out reincarnation. Hmmmmmmmm!
One of the most brilliant musings on values EVER... Thanks for posting Lady True! !
Here are some Inspirational quotes extracted from The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand:
It's true that there's no such thing as free will. We can't help what we are or what we do. It's not our fault. Nobody's to blame for anything. It's all in your background ... and your glands. If you're good, that's no achievement of yours -- you were lucky in your glands. If you're rotten, nobody should punish you -- you were unlucky, that's all.
It's good to suffer. Don't complain. Bear, bow, accept --and be grateful that God has made you suffer. For this makes you better than the people who are laughing and happy. If you don't understand this, don't try to understand. Everything bad comes from the mind, because the mind asks too many questions. It is blessed to believe, not to understand.

What you feel in the presence of a thing you admire is just one word -- 'Yes.' The affirmation, the acceptance, the sign of admittance. And that 'Yes' is more than an answer to one thing, it's a kind of 'Amen' to life, to the earth that holds thisthing, to the thought that created it, to yourself for beingable to see it. But the ability to say 'Yes' or 'No' is the essence of all ownership. It's your ownership of your own ego. Your soul, if you wish. Your soul has a single basic function--the act of valuing. 'Yes' or 'No,' 'I wish' or 'I do not wish.' You can'tsay 'Yes' without saying 'I." There's no affirmation without the one who affirms. In this sense, everything to whichyou grant your love is yours.
