A couple of you may have chanced it a click already, but me and my girlfriend keep a Nicolas Cage blog, where I plan to review all his films, in time! From now on I'll be sure to post them up here! This week we've rewatched and reviewed Lady Argante's favourite film Wild At Heart. I hope y'all enjoy! WOWEEEE! SPROCKET THIS IS AWESOME! There are so many beautifully poetic and insightful parts to your writing that this review in itself has almost as much swoon factor as the movie. I'm really moved to read such a discerning, passionate, perceptive and absolutely superbly written piece about one of my favourite movies! Just like the film, this already has a special place in my heart. Thank you for sharing.... and you have to get your writing more widely read, your blog is a treasure trove of rare, sparkling jewels! __________________

I recently got turned down for a tv development job and the guy who interviewed me said that getting the job was all about having 'connections'! Networking is a tricky business! __________________

Hi Sprocket! Well, I believe in appreciating the talent and effort of all the individual voices in our world who don't automatically have a platform for their work, and your writing is really very good! About the job, that, frankly, stinks! Sorry to hear it..... it clearly wasn't the right job for you! It does seem with the explosion of the blogosphere and the use of social networks for self marketing that things are more of an even playing field than they were though? Are you on twitter or facebook? That seems to be the way people spread their name virtuallly and virally! As for blogs, i have no clue...i only have one lonely post on the blog i began for the forum, but I'll be sure to link up to your blog from the Cagealot Castle Twitter page! __________________

Aw that's really kind of you! I've posted it up on my facebook wall, but I don't know how many of my facebook friends are Cage converts! Still, it's a personal pilgrimage for me and my girlfriend so I suspect we'll keep on writing no matter who's reading! :D Well done on the 1000 posts by the by, as seen in the chatbox! __________________
