Thanks for reading and for your comment Lady Trueheart. it is more or less stream of consciousness, there is no plan but i hope the flow continues I like being absorbed in johnny Blaze!
Yes, greatly enjoying this tale you spin as we all sit around the big fireplace in the main hall. Even the hunting dogs laying beside us perk up their ears and seem to be listening intently. Our knight and king, Sir Nicolas, asks for his flask of mead to be refilled, then commands: "Continue!"

*quivering under his command* oh no..i get writers block when i try too hard! but i will try Sir knight! thank you so much for your encouragement though Lady Grace!
and please...about your writing talents, this chamber of the castle is literally yearning for some fan fics if ever you felt given to unleash them upon a smiling audience!
and gah...I really need to proof read my writing for typos after I have posted it...how did you even understand that last one, there was even a whole word missing! lol! fixed now.
Heart racing, willing it to be so and daring to slowly open his eyes, he scanned the room from where he lay, the circular walls now bathed in the pink orange light of dawn.
He could see no evidence of the night before, apart from a broken bottle on the floor. Breathing deeply as relief began to flood through him and with fading trepidation, Johnny rose unsteadily to his feet.
That is when he noticed it. Everything appeared sharper in his vision as if there was a strong lens in front of his eyes. He could see the cobweb in the corner of the window, the molecular detail of the cobweb, and he could hear the breathing of the spider who created it.
His heart stopped and his mind froze in fear for a moment as his entire senses danced with an intensity that overwhelmed him totally, but the fear gave way to a pervading blissful ecstasy, melting as dark cold ice in the rays of the sun, as a million filaments of liquid light seemed to spread from deep inside through every single one of his veins. There was no pain, just pure exquisite joy.
"It wasn't a dream!" Johnny found himself laughing uncontrollably, his body now as if out of his control too, standing, legs apart, arms raised and head thrown back, he felt the stream of burning white light pushing up his spine again, like a giant snake, exploding out the top of his head and his vision became pure white.
"You now have the gift of the light.
Surrender to this and you will remember.
Do not master, but Trust.
Both darkness and light are born from the same source, as in truth are you. you cannot know light without darkness or darkness without light.
But you are also more than this.
You have received a great gift.
How else would you know what you are not?"
It was a riddle that Johnny understood so completely in that moment. But as his vision began to clear, he realised that he had understood nothing, nothing at all.
"No. No. NO!!!" his voice came as a surprise, almost deafening him as it echoed back to him off the walls.
Throwing open the door as it clattered on it's hinges, Johnny ran blindly down the narrow circular staircase until he came to a large double wooden doorway framed by an ominous stone arch, with stones like square blunt teeth, that looked like an upside down smile. He had not been in this room for years, but he knew exactly where to look and on exactly which shelf he would find what he needed in the castle library.
Fingers turning pages with a lightning intelligence of their own, Johnny finally read the words,"Archangel Michael, Keeper of The Light and The Sword of Truth."
With a maniacal laugh Johnny looked upwards, "Oh YES! an ANGEL! Of course why ever didn't I think of that!" pausing to steady himself against the wall as his senses rampaged in an evocative musty perfume radiating as if from the very souls of every single book from the vast library, "TRUST???!!!!!!" he screamed, "Do you think I am INSANE?"
But alongside his rage, Johnny felt a delicious echo of intoxicationg white light vibrating through his entire being, that he couldn't help but feel strengthened by.
Whoop! This is great, I am now panting to know who that familiar voice belongs to!! I like serials, keeps the interest for me, and I enjoy your writing very much Lula.
Indeed.....who could the familar voice belong to....? !! I am open to ideas and inspiration on this one... it could go in many directions from here....!!!!
mmmm...maybe, Lady Grace! perhaps a new character may enter here, or atleast a new character to this fan fic thus far....hmmmm, because it is already a supernatural story, i guess it could be a supernatural character, or other dimensional..or could it be someone from Johnny's past...or......???
thanks to both of you, and apologies...it can be a bit annoying when someone doesn't continue on with something, wish I was in control of my creative outbursts!
Quazie, when i began this i guess i subconsciously was thinking of the tone of the next movie, but if it progresses it will be a complete departure, I am so dumbstruck by the awesomeness of what we've seen of the next movie so far that I but cower under it's mighty presence!
You can trust that, Lula. It is true. Keep up with your great work. I`m sure, we all are looking forward to read the rest of that wonderfull story. And I like the direction it leads to. Keep on!
May the Spirit of Ghost Rider inspire you!

Just reread it again! And, after watching GR2 a few times, I think, there are certain similarities to your story, Lula! The white light reminds me on the white light in the scene, where the Ghost Rider gets exorcised, and the blue electric light, of course, reminds me on the last scene, when Johnny feels the angel inside him, and the "hellish" fire turns into the divine, blue, electric fire! Also, his hiding somewhere in an deserted area in Rumania, in the movie, reminds me on the description, where Johnny hides, at the beginning of your story! Hope, you get some inspiration again, soon, to continue this awesome story!

thank you Roxy, I only just saw your comment here.
Do you think I should sue them for copyright? the similarity did strike me with the electric blue light, but i have to confess my fiction was inspired by initial speculation about the appearance of AA Michael in GR2!
Thank you for your kind words, the visitation from the muse within who penned this fiction feels like a dim and distant memory.....it would be very welcome if she were to return again, so I could continue!
That would have been ingenious, Lula, if AA Michael would have made an appearence in the second part! But, I think, in one way or another, he did appear, on some level! And, I hope, your muse will return soon, to NICspire you, to continue this awesome story!

Agreed Roxy, Neveldine and Taylor may not have wanted to go down he full blown 'angel' route but in my mind, with the healing blue light the angel connection was more than inferred especially as Moreau told Johnny Blaze that the ghost rider was an incarnation of Zarathos, the angel of justice.
