The light is returning with spring, the birds are singing. the greenness is throbbing, I have just eaten my favourite combo of avocado and humous and my Windows service pack update has just successfully installed after not behaving itself for a couple of months! wheee!
Spring arrives, now that it is in the air.the leaves and the grasses will come out soon, can you see the images?i still feel cold because the windy weather in spring is characteristic of this coastal city where i live, thank you for sharing the warmest things with us
I so can feel it in the air Tues! I love this time of year! here in the uk everything is so green when spring comes with budding trees, flowers blossoms..birdsong... what is spring like in your country?
this question is too complicated for me,our country is large and with complicated natural conditions,i have learnt a lot from books, but the problem is, i've never been out of our province lol.i live in southwestern Fujian Province, which lies across the sea from Taiwan,i guess we are in similar climatic conditions well, spring are not always the same, especially in the last few years.whoooop!spring is coming, the sun is shinning. the wind is blowing. the flowers are blooming. the grass and the trees are growing.Spring is a season of recovery in all things.
I like this Tues, "spring is season of recovery in all things" it is poetic.
I love to hear how spring is across the world, and found this about springtime in China!
"If it weren't for the rain, spring would certainly be my favorite time in China. Even though the winter is short (for most, although the Beijingers might argue this...), it hits hard. So by the time March rolls around and you can make an attempt at imagining putting your heavy winter coat away, you feel like you’ve lived through half a year of winter.
But by the end of March, you can find little green buds on the ends of the trees and flowers starting to force their way into view. Then, April hits and all of a sudden, it’s spring! Every flower seems to bloom at once and varieties I can’t begin to name explode with pink, red and white blooms. And even in the heart of the largest metropolitan city in China, Shanghai, with a population of 18 million, bees manage to carve out a living, pollinating the intrepid flowers. It is truly amazing to see nature do its thing despite man’s best effort to pave over it." China In Springtime
and I love the cherry blossom, so this caught my eye!
Uh Oh dear Lula Let me apologise for my impolite.I didn't know why I wrote Southwestern because I live in Southeastern of Fujian, can't work it out at all Lol The population of Shanghai has increased to 23 million, according to the latest census.Shanghai has the typical characteristic of Jiangnan, refinement & refinement in weather that is always humidooh by the way if you are a romantic person, then Jiangnan is a must-see place when you're travelling to China....AHA....you're right,Spring in Jiangnan is known to be rainy,in addition,"Jiangnan" has never been more than just a geographical concept.... I have never noticed i live in such a wonderful country, thank you!!until today i had been huddled behind my castle wall to notice the beautiful rain scenery, but that doesn't mean a thingcan you conceive walking barefoot for a while in the rain?well,it's wonderful.
NEVER say you're happy when you're sad.NEVER say you feel good when you feel bad!Be the gates of "The Happy Box" & "The Shoot Box" are open to allllll

ohhhh drool...Sprocket will this be online for all to enjoy?!!
Tues, walking in the rain is a miracle...when you see it from that perspective the rain could never be anything other than a gift!! and , i will take that as an invitation to yours, if ever I have the great honour of visiting your country!
I completely agree with you by the way about never pretending to be happy, and blocking feelings is never a good thing.... but i also experience that the infinite and eternal blue sky is ALWAYS there behind every cloud...and that the clouds themselves are ever changing, ever moving, transient, there is so much space in that blue sky you can allow the clouds to both be there and to flow through without losing that spacious peace inside and remembering that is something to thank the clouds for...
What wise and wonderful thoughts you share with us, Lula! And thank you, Lula, for reminding me how magical it is to walk in the rain and feel the earth beneath your feet as you smell the fresh air! All these miraculous gifts of life that we sometimes take for granted and even ignore/forget as we get caught up in the obligations of everyday life and everything going on in these busy lives and brains of ours! So very good to stop and remember what Life is really all about!!
Well,of course, you are always welcome here, please feel free to drop in my castle any time Inspiring & extraordinary words,as always, absolutely wonderfulErr I believe that clouds can never block our blue sky
Blue sky has room for the splendidness of the clouds, because she knows she is the most splendid one and would NEVER be blocked by anything, they are just destined to be ornamentation...
In our words, one of the most tragic thing is "Everyone is filthy whereas I am pure,Everyone is drunk whereas I am sober",therefore, most of us submit to circumstances and keep on rollin with the flow,as others do...On the one hand,It's quite a white elephant to pretend you are happy instead of relieving a poor mood.On the other hand, that doesn't mean you dependent upon others
However,in the world of our very own,we don't have to hide ourselves behind a maskeven talking about the secrets you don't want others to knowWe want to BE LOVED & ACCEPTED,with all of our heart, mind & soul, which is one of the basic human feelings,i think..It's necessary for all of us to share God's unconditional love, which could be felt by every pure heart & simple mind
"We want to BE LOVED & ACCEPTED,with all of our heart, mind & soul, which is one of the basic human feelings,i think..It's necessary for all of us to share God's unconditional love, which could be felt by every pure heart & simple mind." How beautifully said! This is what life is really all about! To create/bring into our shared experience unconditional love, beauty, good... Thank you for reminding us and encouraging us!
Some say love's a little boy, And some say it's a bird, Some say it makes the world go around, Some say that's absurd, And when I asked the man next-door, Who looked as if he knew, His wife got very cross indeed, And said it wouldn't do.
Does it look like a pair of pyjamas, Or the ham in a temperance hotel? Does its odour remind one of llamas, Or has it a comforting smell? Is it prickly to touch as a hedge is, Or soft as eiderdown fluff? Is it sharp or quite smooth at the edges? O tell me the truth about love.
Our history books refer to it In cryptic little notes, It's quite a common topic on The Transatlantic boats; I've found the subject mentioned in Accounts of suicides, And even seen it scribbled on The backs of railway guides.
Does it howl like a hungry Alsatian, Or boom like a military band? Could one give a first-rate imitation On a saw or a Steinway Grand? Is its singing at parties a riot? Does it only like Classical stuff? Will it stop when one wants to be quiet? O tell me the truth about love.
I looked inside the summer-house; It wasn't over there; I tried the Thames at Maidenhead, And Brighton's bracing air. I don't know what the blackbird sang, Or what the tulip said; But it wasn't in the chicken-run, Or underneath the bed.
Can it pull extraordinary faces? Is it usually sick on a swing? Does it spend all its time at the races, or fiddling with pieces of string? Has it views of its own about money? Does it think Patriotism enough? Are its stories vulgar but funny? O tell me the truth about love.
When it comes, will it come without warning Just as I'm picking my nose? Will it knock on my door in the morning, Or tread in the bus on my toes? Will it come like a change in the weather? Will its greeting be courteous or rough? Will it alter my life altogether? O tell me the truth about love.
