And that clip they showed from the movie is one of my favourite scenes,very powerful in it's simplicity.

LOL, today I am officially a Nicolas Cage fangirl, I just watched Nic's press interview three times, so great to see him natural and off the cuff, at his best really. And thoughtful as always.  And gorgeous.

Here is another awards acceptance speech from when Nic received the 2005 'Half Life Award' at the Cine Vegas Film Festival! starry rather fittingly for Con Air, whch has been in the news lately with rumours of a possible sequel. it is strangely edited and sadly Dennis Hopper, who co-starred with Nic in Red Rock West and was presenting the award, had his speech excluded, but a very touching hug passed between Nic and the late great Mr Hopper, and Nic honours him during his speech which is lovely.

What is the meaning of the Half-Life award, I wonder?

And was it just the film lighting, or did that guy at the end with Nic and Dennis have a stocking over his head!?
