It's over Twitter Lady True! It's classic Cage but only half the story! Perhaps we should give a bit of a warning here, it's an over 18 things as far as the language goes *admin hat off*
A thought has been forming over the past couple of days...this video helps to crystalize it! It seems all the closet Nicolas Cage lovers feel it's cool enough to come out over these kind of Nic performances!! Is "crazy" Cage the middle ground for Nic Cage 'lovers' and 'haters'?
Lol, I wonder how many of the people who are raving about this video have actually seen all the movies from which these brief clips come?! There are far more flavours and layers and depths going on in all these films...
They do make awesome viewing out of context like this though...especially juxtaposed with the music!
It was definitely sterling viewing! That music from Requiem is the best comedy accompaniment to any scene... a lot of those scenes are genuinely moving (Adaptation, Wild At Heart)/ frightening (Bringing Out the Dead) in context, but that music always tips things toward the ludicrous.

Precisely....and the scene from Zandalee, a movie that people mostly only consider on one (saucy) dimension, is one of the most harrowing Nicolas Cage moments...
People are still going bonkers over this on Twitter, Jonathan Ross ( famous uk film reviewer / chat show host / comic book creator / married to Jane Goldman co-writer of Kick Ass the film ) has just tweeted which guarantees it's circulation for atleast another day!! Lol!
Truly...............I hope he uses his opportunities to let it all out on 'film' as a catharsis for his personal self. Most of all never can/do let ourselves all hang out like that.......if people really did let loose like ie....having what most would consider....ajor temper tantrums.....they'd be hauled off by the men in white suits.
But, Gawd....we'd all feel so much better inside, eh?
Scream therapy, anyone?

It does make a big difference with the music, the first time I watched it I had the sound off because everyone was asleep, it was just funny then, now with the music, it almost makes me sad he made it. Not to be a downer, but it seems to downplay some of those scenes. Of course everyone makes fun of the Wicker Man stuff, but I personally find that first bit from Vampires Kiss very moving (even the boo hoo part), I am still amazed at his performance in that movie whenever I see it.
But I got to tell you, watching all that together, and with the Ghost Rider scene thrown in there too, I can absolutely imagine Nic turning into a werewolf in the new GR!!
The Wicker Man's an interesting case... it isn't a great film certainly (although people really open-praise the original, which has some wonderful eepie-creepie moments but also some lame scenes) but I never wanted to turn it off! I will always choose a bizarre, amibitious cinematic failure (sorry guys!) than a piece of boring, complacent filmmaking any day.
LOL! take that, swear filter. And that.. the Guardian..and that, wall! Ouch i think I broken my foot! Nic movies are clearly encouraging far too much anger around here, lol.
Seriously though...I agree. And apologies for posting such a provocative article.... It's enraging how the media has to temper every complimentary comment with a negative stab, which they present as a casual truth *for us all*!!! I think this guy should just come out of the closet and accept it's far cooler to be the Nic Cage fan you truly cannot help but be, than cling on to some kind of outdated recycled media generated Cage *shit* that is frankly becoming tedious to read over and over again.
Sprinkles faery dust over Lady Trueheart's hand and all over the land of Cagealot until harmony is restored!
