As Nicolas Cage fans, we were thoroughly treated to a huge array of interviews with Nic, the other stars and filmmakers in the run up to The Sorcerer's Apprentice!
Here is a collection of favourites, please feel free to add your own!
First up, a quintet of chat show appearances sure to remain in the library of best Nicolas Cage interviews for all time!
Nic introduces The Sorcerer's Apprentice Trailer on Jimmy Kimmel live fom Glastonbury Abbey in the uk!
Nic talks about taking magic mushrooms with his cat in the famous and very funny David Letterman interview
Nic receives his flaming skull award from Craig Ferguson
Nic does his Elvis Costello Impression for Jimmy Fallon
Towards the end of the humungus press and interview circuits, Nic was looking a little tired, but I love this interview with Empire magazine where he talks about how The Sorcerer's Apprentice was a "personal movie" for him and about his Father. Also a mention of Drive Angry in this one:
Finally a personal fave, Nic talks about how natural and comfortable it was for him to play Balthazar and the realm of the imagination! (this was during Comic Con when he had that sore throat)
They are working for me, White Fay. Have you tried using another browser.
Oh, this is very cool, all here together in one thread! I like it. I remember when these were coming out, I was on the computer all the time, eagerly looking for more clips, and so pleased to find more, and I bet there are some that I haven't seen yet. A veritable treasure trove for the Nic fan, and all so interesting and different. Laughing out loud sometimes, with tears running down my face, cause I love to see Nic in these interviews, funny and charming and so sincere about his commitment to this movie.
Thank you, Lula, lovely to have all together.
I just watched the first one again, with Jake the movie guy, he is a great interviewer. Nic and Jay are so great together, Nic gets right into the spirit of things too. Great clip.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble viewing the interviews White Fay, is it the youtube videos or the first 4 links in purple you are not seeing? It works fine on 4 different browsers, including Internet explorer and Firefox, for me!
Good idea Lady Trueheart, I will add the Jimmy Kimmel Live Glastonbury link forthwith!
Hope you enjoy them Kelsey! and oooh you have me mesmerized with your avvie...check out those endless oceans of blue ... "What mesmerizing eyes you have Balthazar....." "Lula you forgot the first rule..clear your mind"
Thank you for posting the Heart Radio interview Lady Trueheart! Atchooooooo! (bless you Nic!) He sounded weary after all these interviews, but I love hearing about his living in england.

Dvdtown have put together this 'mashup' of all the best Nic and Jay Baruchel interviews, most of which we have seen before, but there are a couple of stand out lines for me! Which are yours?!
Now is the perfect time Kelsey!! the movie is released on dvd today!
We cannot have a collection without this extraordinarily open radio interview that Lady Trueheart posted some time ago, with Nic talking about The Sorcerer's Apprentice and much much more...! Check it out!
Cool, I had forgotten about this one. It is great to listen to it again, thanks Lula!
It occurs to me that you should have a Sorcerers Chamber of it's own, put all things Sorcerers Apprentice in one place.
oh! We should!! I love this idea meg, I feel so passionately about this movie..... let's do it! And today is the day!!
I'm going to log in as admin now and do this on the wave of your brilliant suggestion, spontaneity rules! The Sorcerer's Chamber here we come!! *waves magic wand*
I've read this one before, must have recycled it. But recycling is always good! This was new to me:
The last time I was an apprentice was on a movie called Season Of The Witch. I had to learn how to ride horses for that movie and a young woman named Camilla was my instructor. She did a wonderful job. I’d not been on a horse before, so I was a little nervous – but I learned to love it, which was exciting. I definitely felt like an apprentice there.
He looks like he was born in a saddle from the SOTW pics, now for that western I want him to make!

wonderful addition Lady True, I have seen it but I don't recall us posting it here! Lol, Nic reminds me very much of another capricorn male, a friend of mine, when he says he is blunt about what he likes, whether other people like it or not!
