Just a little boy from California, lol.

His drawl is in full force in this interview. And I do think he had a cold, or allergies maybe, as you said, Lula.

What does he say at the beginning.."It's true that I do have a passion for the------"?


Great interviews, so cool. Love to hear about the comaradery (sp?) on the set too. Haven't finished watching all of them yet.


Claire Hoy is a good interview too. She has the biggest eyes!

Yes, Claire Foy was very bright and spritely in this interview, where Nic seemed a little more brooding and enigmatic, and somewhat mysterious like the dusky woodland scene in the picture behind them. starry

He's seemingly more and more coming out in interviews about his moving in the direction of supernatural horror type stuff, but not slasher films. ( glad about thatflowerface)


I'll have to watch it again Lady True but doesn't he begin with something about horror?!action

well, It's true that I do have a passion for Grand Guignol and horror, but it's the kind of horror that's by no means slasher, it's not gratuitous or uh just the idea of people being hurt, I like the mysteries of the unknown, the unexplained, the paranormal, the possibilities of these things, and that's what I wanted to participate in

And dear Ms Foy...we're in love with Behman already!wink.gifblowkiss

"I'm just this little boy from California trying to play this teutonic knight from medieval times, so I knew I really had to apply myself to the sword as well as the horseback riding or it wouldn't be authentic, and uh those were my ways in..and then just working in the forest, there's a bit of a travelogue to the movie it's quite beautiful, we were in these forests in Austria and also Hungary, and that just, i think it inspired all of us."

Seems like Nic is wanting to recreate the pleasure his got from movie-going as a child... he certainly struck up an interesting tone, somewhere between nostalgic and brooding. Conjuring forth his inner Christopher Lee, only more Southern!

Those are good quotes, Lula. Yes, some hints, I thought so too.

Grand Guignol - yes, that's it. Never heard of it before. I love it when he throws in those little esoterical remarks that I have to look up later, lol.

He is definitely working that eyebrow, isn't he? And I love the velvet jacket, he looks really good there.  Maybe he needs an ascot a la Vincent! Not.

the eye brow...the jacket... the inner Christopher Lee...the weighty atmosphere.....I'm intrigued even more now with Claire Foy's character...it sounds like there are going to be many levels and that the movie will be incredibly suspenseful as they transport the witch through those stunning and dramatic landscapes! purplestarI hope we're no all too busy hiding behind the castle sofa hide to enjoy those epic landscapes and our knight brandishing his sword....

I think it will have a big twist! And her comment on everyone rooting for Behman, means it's a real hero role for him it seems, perfect! Can't wait! How many times have I said that lately, lol.
