The Valley Girl soundtrack is so much a character in the film! Like the clothes, colours, and language..the songs represent the eighties and the contrast between the suburban valley and urban Hollywood!
thought I would post this one ahead of our Valley Girl themed film club tonight!
This song is the first time Randy takes Julie (and us) into his world!
Oh! that is a shame Lady A! well, these little clips are just to lure people into watching the film (whether it be the first time or the millionth time) and I know you have it, so this is the scence where Randy and Fred are taking Julie and Stacey into their world, driving in the car, top down, and the song playing on the radio is I La La La Love You by the Pat Travers Band!
Hope this works for you!!
Stacey: "I hate this music"
Randy shoutng out to his friends on the sidewalk and doing those epic "whoop"s!!!
Thank you, Lula, for trying, but unfortunatly, that also doesn`t work, because, the GEMA hadn`t granted permission and publishing rights for this song here in Germany! But, as I have seen the movie a few times, I know, which song it is.
