"There's a lot of terrifying moments in it, and it also isn’t afraid to show the brutality of what happened in those days, in medieval times," says Nic of the film.

"A lot darker than I thought, and a lot more scary," says Claire of seeing the final film. "There is a morbid fascination with [witchcraft], and I think witchcraft, in this day and age, it's the other world that everyone's interested in. ... It's magical, really, and people want to know what went on."

"There's an ancient fear and kind of respect for [witchcraft], that it could exist," agrees Nic, "and we all have, on some level, a little fear of the unknown, and anything that taps into that, anything that is not part of the status quo, anything alternative generally inspires fear and I think it also inspires interest."
