Hello, my name's Justin. I live in England and I'm currently in my second year in college studying Film Media and German, and for my film coursework I'm studying the amazing actor Nicolas Cage. I love all his films! He is an amazing actor and deserves far more credit than he currently gets! I have many interests in the world of Film. I'm so happy to be a new memmber of this awesome website! HELLO GUYS! :D
Hello JUstin! how awesome to see you as a member to Cagealot Castle! Thanks for taking the leap and I am glad we will now got to have the best of chats about the work of Mr Nic! ( agreed..it's such a funky emoticon! )
College has clearly improved muchly in the uk since i was studying, thumbsup for our education system! You must be around the same age that I discovered Nic's work, was there a particular film of his that drew you in? I am just wondering... the media and German combination points the compass towards 'Bad Lieutenant' with Nic and Werner Herzog at the helm!!
I hope you have fun here and please feel free to jump in anywhere.
Thank you for your welcomes. :D Much appreciated, thank you for persuading me to join Lula! This website will be so much help for my research on Nic and for socialising and sharing the awesomeness of Nic also. I have always loved Nicolas as an actor, The first film when I truly recognised his talents was in 'Gone in 60 seconds' I absolutely love that film, another film I literally worship is 'Lord of War' the film is so interesting and Nic of course makes the film so much more enjoyable to watch, but I don't really have any favourites in the films Nicolas has acted in, they are all equally brilliant but if I had to say it would definitely have to be the two above. So how about you Lula and Lady Trueheart? What are your favourite Nicolas Cage films?
Aw, well I am glad you are gonna stick around Justin, it is always a pleasure to meet and converse with other Cagiacs! Lol, you just asked the million dollar question..... one that i have wiggled out of answering for a goood coppola decades...and fully intend to continue doing so. I was really excited about The Sorcerer's Apprentice, still am, but like you appreciate the brilliance in all his films, and because of the range it really is almost impossible to pick favourites, as you are not comparing like with like! you might want to check this topic out!
Ahaha Justin, hard to answer that question! I am emotionally attached to some of them, and an appreciative viewer of all of them, but since Raising Arizona was the first I saw I feel it holds a very special place in my Nic movie love. On the other hand there is Moonstruck, Con-Air, Birdy, The Rock, Bad Lieutenant, Bangkok Dangerous, Matchstick Men and so on...sorry, can't choose!
