Took me awhile to find which movie, Lula. The soundtrack from this movie is stupendous, and that piece of music suits the scene it is used for so beautifuly. I cannot even think of that scene without sadness, and yet it was breathtaking too.

My husbands father used to play this piece.   It's gorgeous and evocative......Wait....maybe not!   It reminds me of some other piece.........Oooh...now I'm confused.....

Lady true, this motif is used througbout the film but most noticeably in the opening and end scenes......very very stunning scenes indeed...and completely giving it away to all those who have not guessed the movie yet, the fact that they were inevitably chosen by Nic himself as he made the film makes it even more touching somehow...the perfect choice!starry

Ah, well then, I am thinking of a different movie, I have not seen Sonny yet. It is used in the last scene with Big Daddy in Kick Ass too.

Is it Lady True? wow i didn't realise that...that is an amaxing scene. how cool it is in both movies... clearly i need to watch Kick Ass again!

The Sonny Soundtrack is stupendous too!
 I think you will enjoy Sonny Meg, James Franco is superb and you are in for a treat with Acid Yellow!



Another song from the Sonny soundtrack..but as always..nothing is like watching in the context of the whole film so i definitely recommend it being in every Nic Cage collection!

Yes, after I watch Adaptation I shall watch Sonny. I am
5 on the list for Adaptation at the library.

No....that pic is from a magazine article that was written about Nic about 10/11 years ago.  It's from the same article that we've seen pics of him sitting on a pedestal of sorts in a neon yellow/green turtleneck and sunglasses

I wish I could remember which Magazine interview it is from.  Believe it or not....but I wrote into the magazine about the article after reading it and they ran my comments in the editorial section of the next months magazine.  All I remember about what I wrote is once again, defending and touting the brilliance of Nic.

Hi zookeeper, you are never too late for a party celebrating SONNY!! it is a non stop party! stars

Yes, this beautiful motif is the soundtrack for the opening scene and the end scene (sing.gif very sublimely framing the moviesing.gif ) and appears in places briefly throughout. The end scene in Sonny is one of the all time best movie endings! (not giving anything away for those who haven't seen it)
