I know Nic goes to Comic Con every year because of his comicbook company and he usually has a film to promote and I was wondering if any of the posters on this forum have even gone and met Nic. I know the tickets usually sellout within 24/48, but my sister had a boothe last year to promote her book and she is going again this year. She is a lot closer than I am since she is from Las Vegas and I from Nor Cal. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have went to Comic Con.....what type of costume did you wear and was it Nic related? If I can go someday, I will dress as Peter Lowe and have my cheapy vamp teeth, messy hair, black shades, piece of a pallet for a stake and a home made pigeon. What character of Nic's would any of you go as?
I am in the uk clc so alas this is not an opportunity for me. your costume sounds cool though. I would probably wear these shoes! or go as the non pornographic version of Witchblade. Nic doesn't have a comic book company as far as I am aware, he and his son Weston teamed up with Virgin comics and the chopras for Voodoo Child.
Your costume sounds cool. There was a rumor a couple years back that Voodoo Child was to be adapted into a feature film, but that obviously fell through. Vampire's Kiss is my favorite Nicolas performance and Nic holds it in high reguard and close to his heart. It is the only dvd that he has done commentary on and I think that says a lot. I think it would be neat to meet Nic at Comic Con. I get the impression now that Nic is just as popular in the UK as in the US. A few of the euro folks I have met here in CA that go to Bethel Church, seem to like Nic a lot. Talk to you later. CLC
