I love this quote and thought we already had it here but can't find it, apologies if this is a repeat!
You’re not going to really find happiness in material things. They will make things easier, but there is always going to be that part of you that wants something else. I wrestle with that everyday. I’m always struggling between the spiritual and the material. That’s a hard thing to explain to people… but I believe that beyond the physical world we are all connected.
I don't believe it is here, Lula, I have not read it before. I like it, it is very insightful and true, and something I imagine a lot of people can relate to. I have heard Nic refer to all of us being connected in his interviews sometimes.
Hello Dear Lady True, Iagree with you, it is incredibly insightful, I too experience 'reality' in the interconnection and ultimately oneness of all, and that is what draws me to this quote. He is a brave man to say this too, many peple; do not hold that point of view and I admire him greatly for being able to maintain that awareness in the 'Hollyweird' context he is in. Nic seems to have become more open in recent years about his understanding of all that is beyond the material physical reality, to me that is the definiton of spirituality, openess and awareness to more. than. this.
That quote is so true of Nic. (And, how wonderfull, that we are all connected! I love the thought of being connected with Nic and with you all here in this magical castle!) :)
