you are terrific, lady true, thank you for the great images.what s this? Live Oscar and Indie Spirit Awards Coverage Nicolas Cage Has His Own Acting Method and Its Called Nouveau Shamanic http://celebritygossip24.com/gossip/2010/04/12/hollywoodlife-coms-hot-six-links-in-the-am-our-fave-stories-from-our-bff-sites-30
Lol! cool images! maybe for the gallery? ..........i am not sure Nic was referring to his early career with 'nouveau shamanic' though. rather that is his style now...early career he was deep in the method, then that evolved to the 'english' style of acting ( outside in, clothes appearance etc ) it would be interesting to try to match up images with his self named acting style phases though!
I think whoever did that compilation of pics was thinking of shamanic in terms of outrageous!
This is from the transcript you so lovingly did, Lula.
...'And then now like in the last ten years, I don't really think about it any more, it just is. I don't really have any method. I could probably say what I am about to say here more than anywhere else in the country, I call my new style of acting 'Nouveau Shamanic'.
That's my process, I'll probably have to write a book about it. It's not RADA, it's not actors studio, it's Nouveau Shamanic...'
So I'm thinking in the last ten years Nic has released, not including Grindhouse or the animated movies, an incredible 20 movies! That doesn't include Hungry Rabbit Jumps, Trespass, and Ghost Rider 2, wow!!
Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Windtalkers, Sonny, Adaptation, Matchstick Men, National Treasure, Lord Of War, The Weather Man, World Trade Center, The Wicker Man, Ghost Rider, Next, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Bangkok Dangerous, Knowing, Bad Lieutenant, Kick-Ass, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Season Of The Witch and Drive Angry 3D.
If that is his neauveau shamanic body of work who can argue with it's effect, look at that collection of movies!!
