According to this article, despite all that has been happening for Nic, being the true professional he was back to work on the Medallion set today,  and will be filming his own stunts for action scenes ths week

"the Academy Award-winning actor, 47, was back to work Monday on the New Orleans set of his latest film, Medallion.

"He is always extremely professional," a set source tells PEOPLE of Cage. "He is a dedicated actor when he is at work, and I don't think people would hire him so much if he wasn't."

Cage, who the source says is currently "in fine shape and ready to work," isn't wasting any time diving into challenging parts of filming.

The source tells PEOPLE Cage is "very excited about" doing some of his own stunts for some action sequences he will take on later this week."

  I am glad Nicolas is back at work and going to perform his own stunts.  I hope it will allow him to focus even more and shut out all the media bs.  On a side note, I have always been impressed with Tom Cruise doing most of his own stunts.  Nic is ready for sure!

I wonder what the stunts will be? we know he is a driving guru when it comes to his films ! car
