something tells me Terence Macdonagh would not be the ideal dinner partly guest..(depending what you are into) he may spend more time sneaking off to the bathroom..
something also tells me that despite my attempts at conversion, Yuri would try to sell me something between canapes and the first course...
Boy....this really is a hard topic question to answer because I'm attracted to quite a few of Nic's characters. I guess because he brings such fascinating layers and quirks to them. I have a thing for 'QUIRK' , I guess! LOL!
Anyhooo......since I have a thing for picnics, the setting for my dinner party would be a tete d' tete alfresco affair near a glorious waterfall. The perfect day would be a warm one and there would be willow trees along the water's edge where I'd be able to throw down a huge, fuzzy alpaca throw in which to sprawl out on. My first dinner guest would be Ronnie Cammareri because I think he'd be fun to simply relax and shoot the breeze with for a day. He'd be the type to enjoy some simple foods.....ie.......the kind you can bring along in a picnic basket. A few bottles of Chianti would be on hand and the more we sipped and talked, the more animated our conversation would become. I'd also have a CD player on hand with some classical music on offer along with some Rolling Stones. I'd enjoy Ronnie's company because underneath his rather rough surface exterior lies a man with true passion in his soul. A heady combination!
As evening approached, my dinner guest would morph into Stanley Goodspeed. Stanley isn't quite as rough as Ronnie but he is still quirky and he'd be full of interesting trivia and the conversation surely wouldn't grow cold. I'd whip out steaks that we could grill over an open fire, along with some tabouli and spicy gazpacho soup. There would be a selection of wines available and a some fresh fruit for dessert. Miles Davis would be playing on the CD player at this point. As the sun went down and after losing his initial reservations, Stanley would be thoroughly relaxed and be able to let out his more vulnerable, fun, sexy side. His guitar would mysteriously appear and he'd start strumming as the stars came out. As it got colder, he'd get friskier and his amorous side would start to sneak out. Before to long, we'd be wrestling and laughing together on that fuzzy alpaca throw and while he might not be as 'out there' in his love-making as Johnny Collins might be, he'd definitely show a wild, confident, and kinky streak and I would be completely happy (after all that wine) to be thoroughly ravished by him.
As the moon and the stars began to brightly twinkle above, my dinner companion would now morph into Seth. For our meal, I'd serve s'mores and champagne. I think Seth would be enthralled with the simplicity of the food and the bubbles floating about in our flutes. To me, Seth would be the perfect guy to curl up with under a night sky. He has that quiet yet comforting and strong presence and after all that heated and passionate lovemaking, we'd simply snuggle up together and stare up at the sky. Seth would quietly answer all my soul searching, wisdom seeking questions about the universe. No music would be necessary as the sounds of the night would fill our senses.
The day would have been perfect for my dinner guest and I and we'd sweetly fall asleep in each others arms, dreaming of a perfect world filled with perfect love.
I know! I know! Someone needs to slap me upside the head and yell "SNAP OUT OF IT"! :)

Well, this is so cool, White Fay, I love it! It sounds like a perfect date to me. Although I think if it was me and the three kept morphing I might get a little befuddled! And I might switch Ronnie and Stanley, for the ravishing part, lol!
Well I have eliminated Memphis for his poor table manners and Cris for his irritating habit of knowing what I am going to say NEXT, and Ronnie for fear of my tableware getting smashed, so who shall I invite next for my dinner party, I wonder? I think Johnny Collins is a possibility, just because I have always wanted to make his acquaintance, of course I haven't met Eddie yet either. But I am afraid that Johnny Blaze might be too hot for me to handle! On the other hand he would come in handy for a meal cooked over an open fire.
I think Antonio would eat with gusto, but wonder if Dave might put a damper on the occasion, lol! Ah, decisions, decisions!
I know! Too many men to choose from and all so different! And the dang Nic naysayers scream that all of Nic's characters are all the same. What the frick! They've obviously never had to contemplate which ones they should have to dinner!

LOL!! ha, that is an excellent way to turn that particular Nic myth around Lady fay! Iwilll def suggest this topic to all the twitterers I come across who reinvent it!
I loved your beautiful romantic interpretation of the dinner party by the way and how you made it a one on one kind of a thing.
I am going to enjoy the interaction of my three guests simultaneously! I think they would all be completely intrugued by each other!
Another thing to think about....how did they arrive?
Hark!! Here are my 3 guests arriving at the castle now!
Oh my, I just had fun rereading this thread, it made me laugh out loud!
I never did tell who my last guest would be, or describe my dinner party with H.I. either.
I actually believe we will be dining on KFC that night, with doritos for the vegetable, and lots of beer too. Dessert, maybe some Krispy Kremes, lol. Attire will be casual, and wearing a 'panty' on the head is optional.
I want to find out how HI's life has panned out since those turbulent months, and how his dream of a family has stood the test of time.

LOL!!! I just noticed your reply here Lady Trueheart!
I forgot to add my dream dinner ends with Behmen's white horse Dali still roaming free in the Castle's enchanted forest, I believe he is still there and has made a firm friend in Silver Hoof The Wise Unicorn, after Behmen deciding he would like to rest a while at our Castle in the land of Cagealot!
I am glad that Dali is here in the castle grounds with us, such a brave, true horse, and exquisitely beautiful as well. He deserves a rest after all he has been through, as does Behman!
Indeed, both horse and knight are beings full of grace, courage and honour, and a well deserved rest here in the hopefully relaxing, inspiring demon free surroundings of the castle is theirs for as long as it is needed.
I am glad to say that Behmen and Balthazar were both very happy to find a chamber each here at the castle, dedcated especially to them.
But if my third dinner party guest plays his cards right, he may find a chamber here dedicated to him one day too...
