Among the first of the much anticipated films will be the 15 minute World Premiere of Joel Schumacher’s latest film entitled ,”Trespass” with Nicole Kidman, Nicholas Cage and Cam Gigandet on the big screen of “Lacco Ameno d’Ischia”- a significant piece and psychological thriller produced by Avi Lerner that is expected to be breathtaking like the New York writer’s previous films: Phone Booth, The Client and Falling Down.
Fantastic news, can't wait for the press on it! It doesn't say if the two Nic's will be there, but I really hope so. I am so looking forward to this movie.

I too am excited about Trespass, but dont believe it will be a vigilante thriller in the vien of Falling Down or 8mm. Nic's character in this is a father/husband and white collar and seems less like Michael Douglas in Falling Down or Tom Welles in 8mm. I could be wrong but the "love" angle with Nicole Kidman and one of the hostage takers seems too cliche for me but still want to see it. Looking forward to Hungry Rabbit moreso than anything Nic has been in since BL POCNO.....which is my fave of Nic's right now.
Powermad, I also feel that Falling Down and 8mm are Shumacher's best work and think that 8mm is Nic's and Shumacher's most underrated film respectively. I hope that Trespass will live up to the potential of those films but not sure it can in certain ways with the freedom and scope of those two films. Trespass will have a clausterphobic feel to it which confines the actors/set and overall depth of a film in my view. I hope it can capture the feel of one of my faves, The Descent, even though the genre types are not alike, that film had great feel for a film confined to a specific space and time. Can't wait for the trailers of Trespass and Hungry Rabbit Jumps.
Powermad you are welcome, i share your curiosity about the 15 minute preview, perhas that includes the preamble fom Schumacher, and won't necessairly be all footage! I would be surprised if it wer, directors on the whole seem in favour of keeping their cards close to their chest before releases, ( probably rightly so but as i fan i am onflicted dn get exctied about all the hype! ) but i guess when it comes to film publicity there are other forces at work apart from the director.
Floderstarke and clcdmd, Nic aside, 8MM is way above Falling Down in my view, I enjoyed them both but Nic's performance in 8MM is exceptional. I also really really like Schumacher's The Number 23 and has anyone seen Blood Creek? dark clever scary little movie that is ( though i guess you would call it a horror more than a thriller ) Not forgetting the excellent Flatliners ( which I would class as a thriller )!
I agree that from what we have seen so far,Trespass looks as if it may be claustrophobic film clc, but as I said here that in my mind is a plus point and a very clever ingredient for an intense film experience...that kind of sustained intimacy adds to the tension!
not a fan of kidman though she is a little annoying but thats my opinion am sure nic will be amazing though and being a crazy nic fan a little thing like her being in it wont deter me from watching it . cant wait.
Wonder what's up with this, I haven't seen anything, anyone else? i know Nic is due in the US for comic con soon, and he was in England a few days ago, still time for him to make an appearance though if it runs till the 17th!
I have been keeping my eyes peeled Lady Trueheart, nothing on Trespass, or even Schimacher since these reports! I am even beginning to doubt their accuracy, but Variety are usually pretty reliable.
I didn't read into it that Nic would himself attend, thought that would be amazing.
I am also confused about something..is the Ischia FilmFestival
