Lussier: Yeah, at one time. I don't know if that'll ever happen. It all depends.
Can you hint at what the sequel would involve?
Lussier: Sure, it would happen a couple of years later, and Milton would be doing some penance and working for the man who brought him back. And mayhem ensues.
If a film sequel doesn't appear likely, could you the sequel in another format, like a comic book?
Lussier: Yeah, absolutely. There was talk of a comic at one time, before we even started shooting. I know Millennium got in touch with us and discussed an Accountant-centric story, which we were completely game for and would love to do. We haven't discussed it since then. But if it comes up I know Todd and I would both be game to do that."
That's funny because I was just thinking about how cool Milton would look in comic book form. I would also like to see him in a sequel but I don't think we'll get one anytime soon, either, though I would love to see him again, too, Lady Trueheart!
All the characters would look great in graphic novel form, and each of them have such unique and vibrant presence and their own particular idiosyncrasies that would make awesome comic book characters!
I also think there is endless mileage () in where different stories could go, with Milton escaping from hell each time to avenge, in his particularly spectacular ghosty way, and wih some particularly lush cars, all evil acts against children.
