This sounds like a really exciting project and I hope it comes to fruition. A Con Air reunion! Just been reading about Hansen, what a grisly, awful case.
Ditto to that Johnny! It sounds awesome, it could turn out to be a really intense, chilling, grim thriller. Seeing both these actors in this kind of movie would be very exciting indeed. they were both excellent together in Con Air, hopefully I won't keep having Cameron Poe and Vince Larkin flashbacks!
Thyank you fro posting Lady Trueheart and clcdmb, your topics hve been merged as they were the same thing!
Alaska is so magnificent and parts are still wild and innocent and unspoiled by modern human culture and industrial development. Excellent location. I hope the film includes some glimpses of the native human culture that lives harmoniously with nature there.
I actually want Nicolas to play the villain for once in a film! He always plays the do gooder type and would benefit from playing a really sadistic character in my view. Cusack doesn't enstill fear in the hearts of people and an actor like a Ben Foster would be a better choice.
For me there has never been anyone who plays conflicted better than Nic. and that appeals to me most, neither purely good guy or villain but a character who dances all the different shades or who is pulled in other directions. If you think back to many of his characters this is how Nic brings them to life and it makes them incredibly difficult to put in a box and label.
I was just thinking about the location Lady Grace, that landscape can only add to the tone of a chiller (Lol no pun intended!) The Shining just came to mind!
Wow! That was quick confirmation! It certainly sounds like a great movie premise, I think Cusack will do creepy well, he has some of that going on sometimes.
Nic is good at playing the good guy as well as the villain. i totally agree Ben Foster would be a good choice when it comes to playing a creepy character, even though i think Cusack would be able to play a serial killer very well.
Yeah, actually John Cusack in The Raven is something I would like to see Lady T, I think he is an actor who has scope and edge that is sometimes hidden. I loved his puppeteering in Being John Malkovich!
I just realised this one needs a place in our Nicolas Cage filmography! I am reading all over that it is definitely beginning filming in October, so it must be in pre-production?!! !
I believe it is Quazie! I am looking forward to a re-pairing in a film with a completely different flavour, can't wait to see their onscreen dynamic! and filming begins next month which is really quite soon!
